When I saw this I thought it would make a great gift for my mother who is an elementary school teacher. I think they are great! The graphics have vibrant colors, and are easy to read. The transparent acrylic backing looks flawless. Most importantly, all of the words are spelled correctly. My favorite is the one that says, "Teachers plant seeds that grow forever." The rainbow colors of the word "Teacher" are a nice touch.Overall I am really happy with these decorative plaques. I think they would make a great gift for any teacher in your life. The only thing I think they could do to improve the product is sand the wood stands and possibly stain them. They do have a somewhat rough feel, and the bare, untreated wood looks pretty bland. A bit of sanding and staining would go a long way. I suppose you could do that on your own if you wanted to, but I still feel it should have come that way to begin with. That is why I only gave 4-stars.Finally, remember to remove the protective film from the acrylic though. If you don't, then there will be a cloudy appearance.
