The quality and craftsmanship are decent, I see no flaws in the stitching or throughout the fabric. I wouldn't call these premium or luxurious but they are soft and shimmery. They are not black out curtains but they do diffuse some of the light, just not all.My fear came true when they arrived much more shimmery than I expected. They are a little fancier in appearance than I would have liked but they do look lovely. I have a very casual, laid back style and these up it a little bit out of my comfort zone.If you're looking for a decent quality, pleated curtain with a splash of jazz, these could work for you. I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for a weighted velvet with a casual vibe.It's polyester so I'm confused how these would be considered eco-friendly fiber, weird. I appreciate that they include hooks etc...

Plush & Premium, Luxe Look for Less!

I already have 4 beige champagne velvet PRIMROSE curtain panels like this set already that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I went ahead and got another set though because i love them so much and just wanted to add some more panels for a more luxe look. I have a total of 4 panels on my 48" wide window, though even 2 panels or 3 will suffice. They match my THX Mulberry Silk Duvet cover (Amazon) and silk pillow shams almost perfectly! It took weeks of going in person to several window curtain shops and then purchasing a few curtains from Amazon, only to turn return them as they weren't quite right. I had even purchased a pair of velvet Taupe color curtains from this same company, PRIMROSE, and even though the color was gorgeous...it didn't quite match my champagne colored mulberry silk bedding.I ordered the 90" so that the curtains could drape a little past the floor crown molding --but not too much--though I know it's stylish to leave it quite long, draping on the floor.The fabric is absolutely gorgeous and soft, it's thick enough that it is plush. It feels premium and the texture is luxurious. I love that for this price, I was able to affordably upgrade my bedroom within 30 minutes. It really is beautiful to look at, the velvet is such a romantic and Victorian vibe, though somehow being modern. You'd be surprised at how a new lampshade, candle, pillow and curtains can effortlessly upgrade a room.The color is even throughout and the craftsmanship is really good quality. I feel like it's the perfect price point for these velvet polyester dupes of the cotton luxury ones. I originally wanted cotton velvet, but didn't feel like throwing down $200 at the C&B store. I ended up falling for these beautiful curtains, I'm happy with them.It's not a complete blackout with the beige champagne color, but PRIMROSE advises that with the darker colors it is. It is perhaps 40-50% blackout with this lighter color curtain. The sun does beam down into my bedroom though, I am facing the harsh afternoon Cali sun. If I had this pair hanging in the living room, I think the blackout rate would have been a little higher. I added a blackout roller shade (Amazon) and now it is perfectly black when I am desperate for sleep. As a Flight Attendant, I have irregular sleep/eat hours.This curtain set has everything I need, hooks for pinch pleats and rings. I love that I have options on hanging the curtains different ways. My favorite look is the pinch pleat as it is a dressier, chic look. (Though it took me a hot minute to figure out how to use the plastic clips.)These elegant curtains pull my room together and are definitely a value for money! Love the luxe look for less!
