Nice little holder! I like it 🩷
Looks great hold several cards personally
Honestly, I was very impressed with the quality.
So the finish on this isn't very great. It is pretty rough to the touch and that is unpleasant.Otherwise, the piece is nice looking and cut as shown. Read the dimensions as it is quite small.A tea light candle is the only size candle that will fit in the full moon circle, but I suppose you wouldn't want a big candle there anyway. It does hold standard size cards and does a nice job keeping them up and visible without damaging the bottom half (the part in the holder) of the card.
Very nice quality. Both friends I bought them for loved them.
I'd never seen something like this (or never remembered seeing it), but this is fantastic. For me it serves a very specific (prior unmet) need. I used to do readings and sometimes leave them out on an alter as part of the ritual of the reading and of manifesting. It was powerful and great. Then... I got cats.Cats are awesome, too, but my cats like to take and eat my tarot and oracle cards. At least as kittens they did. But even now as grown cats they like to lie on top of anything important, scratch it, sometimes accidentally throw a hair ball up on it and more. For all of those reasons this is a "divine" solution. Now I can have my "tarot, oracle, cat cake" and "eat it," too (AKA not have my cards thrown up on, torn and lost by cats). The stand is gorgeous walnut and holds two rows of cards, with three cards in each row. It's made so the back row will be slightly higher than the front and easier to see. This beautiful walnut wood folder works well with moon cycle related rituals. I didn't even notice it when I ordered it. When I opened it I saw how it shows a symbolism of the moon cycles with little indentations in the front of the stand. The center "full moon" spot is perfect for holding a candle. That said, I would personally never put a lit candle there, at least not when I have cards on it as it would definitely add a smoke tinge or even slight burn on the card. Instead, I will only put the candle up there before it's lit and after it's out.The only thing I did not like about this, and was even sad to see, is that the two ridges where the cards go is not completely sanded to be smooth. When I run my fingers on it I can feel the sharp wood that should be smoothed so it cannot cause damage. What I am most concerned about is that it will damage precious card sets, ones I cannot replace. If I buy sand paper and sand it myself I think it will ruin the finish and I do not have means to add more finish or redo the entire thing. I think for now I will carefully use it as is. If I see any damage at all to my cards I will have to try sanding. If that were fixed this would be PERFECT!! Based on how helpful it is with keeping cats from sleeping on your tarot cards I would also say this is "PURRFECT!"
