Tough and leaves minimal residue

I set up this office desk about a year ago using the Tapebear double-sided tape to hold a separate mini-shelf in place. The tape worked so well I nearly forgot the shelf was taped onto my desk! No wobbling after the initial application; just a very firm, stationary shelf.Now I’m moving, hence the before and after photos. After muscling the shelf off I just knew my desk would be ruined. I put Tapebear carpet tape down under an area rug for many months. It held in place great. Removal was also excellent. It is very sticky & took effort to remove, but it came off without damaging the pile carpet under neath. I did not yank it off to see if I could damage my carpet, but I was able to get it off without damage. Highly recommended.

This tape really sticks

The tape works well. When you first put it on and put the rug in place the tape has a tendency to separate from the rug if you try to pull it up. Need to hand the tape ende to keep it from doing this. I noticed after the rug has been down for several weeks it is easier th pull up. Good product. Does not leave residue.

Unbelievably strong!

Very strong. Have held down my carpet stair treads for over a year with no lifting. I haven’t tried to pull them up to wash them so I don’t know how easily the adhesive will be to remove from the carpet or hardwood steps, so 1 star deducted.Somewhat hard to cut and remove the backing, but that’s because the adhesive is so strong.
