Nice Easel Display, Industrial Screws

This is a nice display stand easel for pictures or paintings with a dark warm gold color that’s a nice change from other brands (I have quite a few of these in various styles/brands) as do the back screws which are almost comically large. Setting this up is as easy as just screwing things in. Like almost ever one of these I have, paint application is always an issues and this is no exception. A big bubble and a separate scrape both on the front, and the screws will always scrape the paint on when tightened well enough to be sturdy. I prefer screws that are discrete, and these are large and the black makes them really stand out. You may like that, but it’s worth taking a close look at to be sure. I like the base being heavy but still flat, and this is nicer than most so I’d say it’s a good value. I call out things to look out for or that aren’t ideal, but it’s still one of the top stands I have and I would still recommend it if this is something you’ve been looking for!

Great style but color was off and the clamps weren’t straight leaving a big gap!

I really really wanted to love this easel! The very first thing I noticed out of the box was that it seemed more like a mustardy orange/gold color to me. I was expecting more of a bright gold color. So that was a bit disappointing.The set up was fairly easy and straight forward. It took me about 5 minutes to get all the parts in the right order. The twist knobs on the back work well but are quite clunky and I sat there turning them a lot just to lock in the picture. Obviously if you had a thicker piece of artwork, you would have less turning to tighten it.The other main reason I took of two stars was that one of the clamps was crooked and which leaves a wide gap between the clamp and the artwork. I have two different pictures here where I’m pointing to the gap. I tried swapping the two clamps to see if it made a difference and it did not. So the picture sat flush against one clamp and one side of the other clamp but one corner gapped open. It was the way the metal clamp was soldered together- not straight. It’s not the end of the world but was bugging me every time I looked at it.Overall, the idea is great and I love the look of this type of easel and maybe I got a wonky one. For the price point I would pass!

Nice heavy canvass holder for tabletop painting

Out the box I was impressed with the weight and quality of the stand as when I first saw it on Amazon I expected it to be plastic or some reason but it is solid metalIt works well to hold a small to medium sized canvass but the brackets to hold it in place could have been shorter or thinner to not block as much of the canvas as they do. I also had to bend the pieces on the main post to get them to align for me to assemble it.Other than that it will work well for my 10 year old who loves to paint along with my 16 year old who enjoys painting as well.

Perhaps The Annoying Assembly is Worth It

This is a lovely easel stand. It was packaged well, and the materials are of great quality. The only issue I had was the tedious construction.There are lots of little screws and items to use in order to set up this easel. That was the most frustrating aspect of this item. Other than that after it was constructed, it seemed to be worth the irritation. I like that you can adjust the height and also with the screws on the easel it can allow you to adapt for different thicknesses. It’s really nice because you can also use it for books or anything else you would like to put on display that is a type of rectangular shape.The material is sturdy, strong and it seems like it will last for a while. If I could have avoided assembly, that would’ve been great, but it’s still a nice item to have in the home for decor. It is a statement piece and great to put items on display. I absolutely recommend.

Nice easel stand

The easel stand works as expected and seems to be able to hold a noce amount of weight. The picture in my pictures weighs a nice amount. It is easy to adjust with a simple screw and butterfly nut to keep it in place. The assembly is also simple as it is just putting the brackets onto the pole and tightening where you want them. The desing is nice and looks pretty good from the front. The ibky complaint I have is how orange the color looks in real life. The color brings down the value of it slightly but itis a sturdy easel despite that. I do think it is still a good value for the money and would recommend it if you are looking for that color.

Functional, but not very attractive

For the price point ($20), it’s a fair display stand because it is all steel and heavyweight enough to support a framed painting, however, the painted coating is poor quality with little bubbles visible and it easily scratches off. The wing nuts to hold the painting are unnecessarily long and stick out the back, they could be shorter for a more polished look.Assembly was very straightforward and simple, and easy to follow directions are included. Overall, it’s an effective and functional product to display a book or painting, but the top and bottom braces that hold the painting have a 1” hangover that does show and could impact the aesthetics of your display.
