This a very cute idea. It is a gift jar filled with sympathy bible verses. It would be a great gift for someone who is struggling with grieve. It comes in a box suitable for giving as the presentation box. The jar is glass and measures about 2.7 x 3.5 and has a cork top. I read a few of the scriptures and they are very appropriate. Each message is typed on colorful strips of paper, folded and then inserted into the jar. The only downside that I see is the messages are on plain flimsy paper instead of a heavier weight card stock. Because this is such a beautiful presentation piece with a good message, I highly recommend this item. It is prices fairly and a very good value for the money.
A lovely and unique sympathy gift for a loved one or friend. The packaging is as lovely as the jar. It comes with a cute twine and token to tie around the jar. The Bible versus are on point and will provide light. My one dislike is that the verse strips are paper that probably won’t hold up well to frequent use; it would be nicer if the cards were laminated or some kind of plastic. The price is great though, so I can forgive that. Honestly a lovely item to give during a time of sorrow.
This little glass jar of Bible verses is the perfect pick me up for someone who needs comfort when they may be going through something.I really appreciated receiving this and found myself reading through a lot of the verses.I’m not really sure which Bible translation this is, but I imagine it being the NIV or something similar. I do realize that this was made in another country, and Lil nuances like the capitalization of “He” when referring to God may be present in a lot of these quotes.If you are considering it for someone who may take offense to that – be wary.However, all in all, this is a great little gift for someone who may be in need of uplifting messages from the Bible.This was packaged incredibly well, by the way.

Pros:- very giftable- the color coding is super helpful with pulling out verses for each moment- something to say to a grieving person when other words might fall short- verses seem accurateCons:- small- does not say what version the verses are from- paper could be thickerFor the price, this is a great option to send to someone who is grieving! Just make sure they aren't set on one particular version of the Bible.
