This works perfect for securing rugs! It's nice and sticky and actually holds them down! Sick of the corner ones just lifting. There is plenty on the roll too so it's a better deal. It doesn't leave any sticky residue behind either. I will be using this for now to secure rugs.
I used this double sided rug tape to secure a cowhide rug to a ceramic tile floor. It works great. It's a little difficult to get the tape separated from the paper at first, but it gets easier after several pieces. Just use your thumbnails at the corners and press one corner down while prying the paper up.

So far sticks well for use on area rug to a Berber carpet (so far, has only been 5 days) which is what I purchased it for. Not easy to use as it tries to stick to itself when peeling off the backing. Would be nice if a dispenser was available to make it easier to apply.

Actually NO stars. It’s that bad. It’s more like two pieces of scotch tape back to back Definitely nothing like the rug pads I’ve used in the past. Hard to peel off roll and almost impossible to peel off backing.This is going to be returned!
