Very cute and real looking for a bit of lagniappe
These are the coolest little pots of green that I love so much, I’m tempted to just order another set.The pots are made of a textured aluminum, they look like burlap but are all metal. They are very well packaged, and they require assembly. Fortunately, the assembly amounts to putting each plant in each pot with the included foam insert in place. It’s very easy, and although they do need to be fluffed a little after putting them together, they look marvelous. You can display them separately or together, I honestly had so many places I could’ve put them that it was hard for me to decide. I ended up putting them on the back of my stove, where there is large enough gap that I can’t put things like spices or anything that will fall down behind it. The pots are perfectly size and they just really give that little bit of zhuzh that the area needed.I have an esoteric, farmhouse, decor, but this would go well, regardless of what your personal homestyle is. They are plants! And every room needs more plants. They are also made of plastic, and have a slight chemical plastic odor to them that aired out within an hour. They are fairly high quality too, I would rank them next to anything. I’ve purchased at Home Depot or TJ Maxx. The price is about what I would expect, and I feel it’s a good value for the money as you do get all three pots. They are fairly generously sized, maybe about 6 to 7 inches tall and about five or so inches wide. They look great group together or individually. And they are perfect for people who either can’t grow plants well, or don’t have enough sunlight so that their indoor plants thrive.

Sad little plants covered in “texture” powder…
Unfortunately, not really a great product compared to others….I have several sets of artificial eucalyptus plants in tin pots now throughout my home and at the same price point as these yet, these are by far the worst set I own. This IS the first set I have had to assemble. While putting these items together is easy, it’s hard to make them look good when the quality of materials is pretty poor. You will receive three small ribbed tins to use as pots. These are okay but are very thin and light. They are easy to bend or dent so careful handling is required.Next you receive three pieces of dense foam, not floral foam or styrofoam, in a circular shape and a hole in the center. You place one in each of the tin pots and push the bottom stem from one plant into the hole. Unfortunately, these push down to the bottom of the tin, not allowing room for the stem to go through the hole so you will continuously readjust the plants or, you will need to hot glue the foam in the tin so it doesn’t move, a bit higher than the bottom, making room for the stem to go all the way to the bottom of the tin, eliminating the need to readjust the plant daily.Next are three eucalyptus plants. First, they covered the plants in a powder material to give the plants a more “textured” look. However, the powder is not glued on so as you adjust them or handle them, the powder flies around you. It wipes right off onto your fingers as you touch the stems making it impossible to assemble the plants and/or adjust the stems without removing all the “texture”. When you first receive the plants, they are folded and smashed in the box, leaving you no alternative except to touch them while you assemble them, adjust them and attempt to make them presentable. While the powder is a big problem, making these plants look presentable seems impossible. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the different lengths of each branch, making each plant have a non uninformed look…..like a really bad haircut where chucks are missing from sections of each plant. Once you finally get them assembled, they look ridiculous and silly with white fingerprints all over and straggling lengths of leaves randomly sticking out everywhere. My choice is to manhandle the plants so I can attempt to make them look good or be gentle to protect the “texture” and have lopsided, funny looking plants that I hide somewhere no one will see….What will your choice be if you buy them?

Small fake greenery in shabby chic metal pots. Easy 2 shape & "plant". Off smell if u get close. A-
This is my common failing when ordering items. I just look at the pictures and don't read the descriptions. So if I had, I would undoubtedly have seen that there planters are much smaller (by about half) of what I was expecting. I thought they be big enough to put on my porch, but that's not the case. They are really more indoor sized, for a table top, desktop, bookshelf, etc. I like the design - the galvanized metal pots are shabby chic with a silver base on white paint kind of rubbed off. Look good, but won't withstand the wind if you put them outdoors, certainly not in the Midwest in the winter. I found the Eucalyptus "plants" to be easy to pose and shape, so that was no problem, but they left kind of a white dust as I pulled them from the cardboard box everything is conveniently packed into. So I'm not sure people with allergies to dust, etc. would be comfortable with that. It didn't make me sneeze, but when you stick your nose right up into the plants, you do get an off-smell. Sitting on a desk, you don't really smell it (or I don't, and I've got a super sniffer - thanks pregnancy). I also like the cute styrofoam bases that you find in the bottom of the pots, because you just stick the "stem" of the 3 plants into one hole, put the styrofoam into a pot, and voila! You've got greenery that's ready to display. So no hassling with glues, etc. The styrofoam fits perfectly into the bottom section of the pot. Nice. I think students would enjoy it to add a bit of green to dorm rooms (without the hassle of actually caring for a living plant). It think office would enjoy them to place in a bathroom to add a decorative element. Who won't enjoy these are people who wanted to put them outside, unless you want to put them into a flower box where the 3 together might look cute. Otherwise, not large enough to be stand alones. Well packaged to be giftable, as you can ship anywhere and not worry about breakage. So lots of positives with 2 negatives - the small size and the smell if you get close. Not sure how that would work in a small space, but I'm going to try one in a guest bath and I'll let you know if it is pungent enough to affect a small room. Otherwise - I'd grade them an A- or B. Pretty happy but as always, wish I read ads more completely before ordering!
