I actually purchased this area rug to go outside in my weather-protected entryway. The colors are very neutral and go perfect with the seat pads I already have on my wicker chairs. Makes for a cozy attractive outdoor retreat. I laid it upside down for about a week, and that took care of most of the folds from being rolled up. Had a bit of "a new carpet odor", but has dissipated a lot since its been outside. Great price point. Not a wimpy weight either. Hope this replacement rug holds up as good as my previous one (about 7 years). Am quite satisfied with it.

Nice area rug for the price

This is a low pile 5 x 8 foot area rug with various shades of brown, tan and beige. With maybe a khaki like color which, under our lighting, looks like a light olive green. The neutral colors would look good with any decor. It came with fast delivery and very well packaged. Only took a couple days down to flatten out the wrinkles from packaging. It's not plush by any means but you could put a rug pad under it to make it softer. There wasn't any chemical smell to it. Overall I'm pleased with it for the price.

Price is good but rug is thinner and lighter weight than expected and corners insist on curling up even after being weighted down for several weeks. Visually the quality is fair for the price but will not be mistaken for better quality carpets costing twice the price. After 3 months of use in high traffic area is holding up pretty well and still looks new. Colors pretty true to picture. Serving its purpose of protecting carpet in high traffic area in front of my sofa. At this price I can replace it every 3 years and prolong the life of my carpet but I would be willing to pay more for better quality if I could find similar colors and pattern.

Color mismatch!

I ordered this rug for a walkway adjacent to my dining area and an 8' x 10' matching rug for the dining area. Well, the colors don't match!! The pattern does, but the runner rug is much more muted and dull. Ruins the effect I was trying to create. I ordered them together so I expected the colors to match. Very disappointing!!
