What I expected with one exception

This was mostly what I anticipated with one exception. As for what I expected, the size, pattern and thickness were as advertised (see pictures with measurements). The only thing that kind of surprised me was the intensity of the blue color on it. It was lighter than I anticipated. In the picture where my husband was measuring the rug you can compare the light color of the rug to the navy blue on his jeans and the navy color of the curtain behind him (you can't see much of it, but if you look you'll notice it). Overall, it's nice. Has no softness/plush to it, but that makes sense bc it can also be used outside. I do think it would work outside as long as you have a pergola or something to at least protect it from the rain. I'm tentative about keeping any rug exposed to rain, but this rug does seem like it's durable enough to last outside.

Exactly what I needed!

I love this rug! It’s super cute, does this job of trapping dirt before entering the house, and cleans very well! I’ve had other jute rugs that I haven’t liked as much as this one. I have a high traffic area for that front door with four kids, a dog, and a husband in construction! I need things that clean easily! This rug can be vacuumed with a Dyson, for those of you that use the cordless vacuums. But I can’t only vacuum in one direction or the suction is too much to go back-and-forth. However, my Roomba travels over it and cleans it very well. I have had some mud spots that I just wiped off with a wet paper towel. Or if you let it dry, the vacuum takes it back up.It’s stylish and functional and it’s exactly what I was looking for in an entry way rug! The grip on the bottom is great. I haven’t had it slide or move anywhere and that’s with the Huskey running inside the house! I would highly recommend this! There is a small crease in the center of the rug where it is folded for packaging and shipping, but it is slowly working its way out as everybody walks on it, and it gets vacuumed.

This jute area rug by Pure Cozy is a well-made product that measures 5' x 7'. It comes in different striped designs. The one I ordered is blue and tan (but a darker shade of tan than appears in the product description). The material is polyester with a rubberized backing that holds its' position well.I have purchased similar rugs before. This one looks and feels durable and should stand up well to foot traffic. It's listed as indoor/outdoor. It depends on your individual taste. It has a rustic look and feel. We placed ours in our laundry/utility room to provide some comfort underfoot, rather than walking on the existing concrete floor.You could possibly get a better price at a retail outlet store.
