TRUE blackout, thick curtain set

This set of curtains is noticeably heavy and thick upon unboxing! Given the weight, I thought I had received a big textbook in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised that the color is true to the pictures in the listing, which works wonderfully for a variety of styles. Quality Insulated + Blackout Curtains

These light green “blackout” curtains are really perfect for my purpose and the some. Their material is nicely thick and really does shield the interior of our spare room from the cold seeping through the double pane windows. It’s fantastic that they insulated as it had been -15*F lately and we will do whatever we can to keep our home cozy as possible. The color is beautiful, and I know they say “retro,” but I’m partial on to classic sage - I think that label fits them well.I did wash and dry them before hanging, so I found no creases or wrinkles in the material, and they washed + gentle cycle dried perfectly. The widths and lengths were true to size, and I found that they truly kept light out as well. Much prettier and higher quality than other blackout curtains I’ve had, these are subtle, quality fabric that looks higher end. So all in all I am very pleased with the quality and overall value of these sage green insulated curtains, they look great and will last - both very important to me.

It's 70% - 85% blackout and Velvet is excellent for curtains that insulate against the cold

Retro Green Blackout Curtains Thermal Insulated Room Darkening Drapes Back Tab Hook Belt . The rings are not included, so I can't show you how they would look with them, but in the attached video, I demonstrate the other two ways to hang them. The total width is 104 inches, as it consists of two panels, each 52 inches wide. The rod pocket measures 3 inches long by 2 inches wide. The fabric is very soft, and I ironed it with a steam iron on a low setting on the back, and it withstood the heat without wrinkling. Since it's not 100% blackout, it lets some light through, but it's difficult to see through it, which I find ideal for privacy, although shadows are still visible. The curtain has a very elegant look and enhances the room. Because it's not a grommet curtain with rings to cover the seam where the two panels meet, a different technique, which I demonstrate in the video, is required to maintain complete privacy at the seam.It says it's a thermal curtain, but I've seen supposedly thermal curtains with a white, almost plastic-like fabric on the back, and this one doesn't have that, which made me doubt whether it was truly a thermal curtain. So I did some research and discovered that the reason this curtain is considered thermal is because of the type of fabric it's made from: velvet. This fabric is also used to prevent cold air from entering the house. Velvet is excellent for curtains that insulate against the cold, as its thick, dense weave acts as a thermal insulator, blocking cold drafts in winter and keeping the house warm, while also adding a touch of luxury and reducing noise and light.
