It’s a decent tabletop size and stands out well both during the day and at night when the LEDs are on.It arrived well packaged and protected, with no damage during shipping. Build quality overall looks good.It runs on 2 AA batteries (not included), which is easy enough and keeps placement flexible without needing a cord.The only small issue I noticed was that one of the small bulb-style attachments on the hat was a bit loose. The others were snug and appeared securely glued. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.Overall, it’s a bright, festive decoration that works great for seasonal display.

Cute With Mediocre Characteristics, Sloppily Painted Décor. Don’t Recommend

I’m here to provide my honest experience and unbiased -picky- opinion. I ordered this as a gift for my gnome loving Irish mom.This arrived safely packaged. It is a cute tabletop decoration, though the quality control department was on vacation when these were produced. It looks like the image-ish and is sloppily made. The paint is messily slapped on. There were dents and imperfections in the ceramic material that was just painted over.The biggest trouble with it is there was a larger glue drip down in the battery compartment that prohibited the insertion of one of the batteries, see photos. I couldn’t get it out. I had to ask someone far stronger than me-who was able to remove it-to be able to complete the battery installation. If I didn’t have that option I wouldn’t have been able to have it light up.The light is bright enough in complete darkness, but in a normal semi-lit evening room it’s not that bright, but can tell it lights up. The top layer of lights are barely lit since the light is at the base and comes out stronger from the base than though the light bulbs.For $16.95 I didn’t expect a luxury item, but a lot better than dollar store quality item. I feel this isn’t a good value for the money based on the overall low quality and minimal quality control. Especially since as received I wouldn’t have been able to light it up at all.This is just a mediocre quickly made product. While cute, unless you are a gnome lover and just needing a St. Patrick’s day gnome decoration, I wouldn’t recommend this one nor purchase it again. Keep shopping and find a better one. Hope this info was helpful!
