Blackout curtian in deed...but thats about all it does

The curtain itself fits exactly as described, but for my particular window it’s a little narrow width-wise. That’s not a manufacturer issue at all — it’s just how my window is set up. As long as you measure properly, the sizing is accurate.It does an excellent job blocking out sunlight. Once it’s closed, the room gets noticeably darker, which makes it great for bedrooms or nurseries. As for temperature control, I can’t say it helps block the cold. My windows are older, so on especially cold days the chill still comes through. I wasn’t expecting it to fully stop the cold, but in my case it didn’t make a noticeable difference either.Overall, it’s a solid blackout curtain that looks nice, fits as advertised, and does exactly what it claims when it comes to light blocking.

Great blackout curtain

This might be the best light-blocking blackout curtain I've tried! With the multiple layers overall it's fairly thick, which is better than some others where the light still bleeds through; I imagine that will also help with thermal insulation. But it REALLY does block out the light.The only negative I have is that the back tabs are essentially just a handful of threads. (You can actually see this, but blurry, in the listing photos.) I would have preferred if it was a bit of fabric, as that would make sliding it onto a curtain rod easier, and might make it more robust.

Nice but not soundproof

If I didn't know these were curtains, I would covered up with it and fell asleep. It's warm and soft. One of the things that attracted me to this curtain was the noise absorbing soundproofing feature. After placing on rod, I stepped outside while my music was on to see if I'd still hear it...and I did. Conveniently while I was outside the neighbors dogs begun barking and I was still able to hear em. The back is unique, the hook or curtain rod goes through some threads. The curtain does look great though and fits perfectly.
