Got this for my bedroom :) it smells so fresh and calming. The scent’s light but fills the space just enough to feel cozy and relaxing. The bottle’s simple and modern, and the box it came in was super cute too.
So I gave it 4 stars, not because of quality. It has a really pleasant scent and it fills a pretty large size space if you use all the reeds it comes with. It is nicely packaged with a description of scent and how it's made. Unfortunately I can't justify the price. 78 dollars is way too expensive for a room scent in my opinion. I would go the farthest price range of 30 to 35 because of the packaging/etc. That is why I gave 4 stars.
This is a truly luxurious, incredibly high end fragrance diffuser set. I ordered the Clement Dawn scent and before I get into the phenomenal fragrance, I have to gush a bit over the beauty and artistry of the packaging and presentation. This diffuser set is a true gift, and every component conveys how very special this product is. The heavy, recycled materials box, the inner flap with its thoughtful gift inscription, the inspiring "be your own light" word starburst, and the gorgeous inner product presentation are all so lovely and so thoughtfully designed. The shapely apothecary style jar subtly telegraphs this scent's function as medicine for the soul. Every aspect of this set has clearly been thoughtfully, painstakingly, and lovingly created, and I deeply respect that.Now, for the scent!My first impression was that of the richest, juiciest, most fragrant orange I could ever imagine biting into. It is fresh, clean, and energizing. It was so real and uncontaminated that I could almost taste it on the back of my tongue, and feel it pressed against the roof of my mouth. The very instant before I exhaled, the mid notes of jasmine came into play. Sweet, but in no way cloying. The geranium is a brief, blink and you'll miss it, note, but it is there. It adds a fresh, green and growing things, accompaniment to the jasmine, keeping the sweetness in check and grounded. Now, I am normally extremely sensitive to Sandalwood. Honestly, it is not one of my favorite scents because so few fragrance makers do it right and are far too heavy-handed. But, this? Perfection. It is the lightest of impressions, a mere suggestion, cozying up with the warm amber and tonka bean as you swallow your delicious bite and exhale. Exquisite.(I have to thank Soréva for the wonderful meditation session that I was able to experience as I explored this complex fragrance for my review. Rarely am I able to give myself over so completely to a single sense. I genuinely felt as if I were coming out of a trance as I opened my eyes on the final exhale of my intense study.)I absolutely love this product. The quality, dedication, and commitment to their crafts by the ladies of Soréva is apparent in every element. It is pure, it is unmuddied, and it is beautiful - in fragrance, packaging, and spirit. If you can swing the price tag, it is absolutely a product worthy of the investment. Thank you so much, Soréva, for allowing me to experience this truly special diffuser set.
Opening this item was a genuine hoot. I knew what it was going to look like, but no idea how it was going to smell. So I savored every action I took. Oh, and I will state it here in the first paragraph: This would make a magnificent gift for just about anyone. So, it comes in a very nicely designed cardboard package. Looks like an expensive four CD boxed set. In addition to the logo in ink, there is a single sticker in the middle that indicates the scent of the item. (So obviously the work of a true graphic designer.) Opening the flap to the right and on the next piece of cardboard, in an arc, it simply says: “To My Dear” with a straight line under it to be filled in by the giver.Opening another layer, only to the left this time, reveals the product and presents a nice bit of prose. My first impression upon seeing the vintage apothecary type of bottle with the cork stopper was that this was much larger than I expected it to be. The bottle is just shy of four inches while with the reeds inserted it tops nine inches. Prying it from it's die-cut hole, I also realized it was much heavier than I expected it to be, as well. Next to the bottle, tied up in a formal black ribbon are the seven reeds.At this point there was only one thing to do . . . open it. Adding to the anticipation, I thought at first I was going to need a tool to get the bottle open, but I finally coaxed the stopper from the neck manually. And there it was. The first smell of Clement Dawn. It was heavenly. It was very strong at first. Not nose assaulting by any means, but it certainly made it's presence known. Setting the bottle down on the desk more notes came from the container until it was the full rounded scent. Absolutely delightful.As I was sitting in the office, one of the smaller rooms in the home, I decided to only use 5 reeds and inserted them into the bottle to begin the absorption process. I'll be quite honest, my olfactory system is not discerning enough to identify each of the seven fundamental odors thrown off. I just know it makes me breath a little deeper and a little slower.It has been the better part of five days since I opened this most agreeable item, and I am still impressed with the scent and the manner in which the piece works. Interestingly, I find it as pleasing to view as to smell. It is so simple. One of the co-founders struggles with allergies and as a result and very purposely this formula is alcohol-free, plant based and absent many irritants normally present in aroma products. It usually last three to four months. Think the scent is getting lighter? Simply add a reed or two or turn the reeds upside down, stick them back in and you should return to the initial strength soon enough.The one thing not yet addressed is the price. Yes, it is a bit expensive. However one must look at the total value of the purchase. Everything about this product is top drawer. From the packaging to the reeds every element is of the highest quality. Then there is the satisfaction of your house or apartment smelling like a 4 star hotel. Your being a little more anchored to the here and now by the pleasing fragrance. The length of service the item will give you. The interesting and soothing look of the piece. And perhaps even the knowledge that you supported a company that shares your values.I've written a lot of reviews over the past year, but I have to say that this shines as one of the most outstanding products I have evaluated to date. After examining and using it, I have found nothing wrong with it. I can and do support and recommend it wholeheartedly. It is definitely worth this 5 Star rating.
This reed diffuser is impressively stylish. The packaging is neat and tidy, and unboxing reveals a pretty presentation with a color-printed insert that securely holds the bottle and reeds. The cork is plastic on the inside but forms a tight seal, plus the cork is plastic-wrapped to the bottle for shipping, so the chance of leaking is near zero. The amber glass looks beautiful and it’s wide and heavy enough to create a reassuring and stable center of gravity.Scent-wise, “clement dawn” is a citrus aroma but rather subtle. I can smell it up close, but after leaving it in a bedroom for a few days I can’t say I smell anything when I enter the room. It’s good that it’s not overpowering, but I’d prefer a stronger aroma.As of this writing, the price is pretty steep at almost $80. It’s a beautiful product with eco-friendly details, but I’m not sure the value is there at that price point.
