Nice candle with a lovely scent. I always like cypress w/musk candles!
This candle is much better than the first one I received. There was something wrong with it and it had bad tunneling. When I first lit it, the flame extinguished in 45 minutes. It wouldn’t stay lit. It was like trying to burn butter with a wick! Thank God it must have been defective candle because this one has a normal burn-pool. It is just lovely. It was packaged well, and I am very happy with it.💰 This candle is listed at $17.95. Considering it is only 9 ounces, I think it is over-priced. It should be between $9.99 to $12.99. This has a nice scent, but there isn’t anything unusual or special about it. It has a standard label, not fancy. Also, it is typical soy wax, which tends to be very soft. I prefer a soy/paraffin mix. I like the way the wax burns and solidifies afterwards. Paraffin candles are harder to pour into jars and sometimes require a double-pour so I guess I appreciate them a little more. 🫣 I hate to say that I feel Soy candles are “beginner candles.“🤷🏼♀️👃🏻I must say, this candle does smell nice. Not as strong as it should be though. It doesn’t have much throw, even in the size of my small bedroom. But I like the cypress undertones with a bit of musk. Bamboo, Cypress & Musk, shouldn’t have any hint of fruity/sour notes. It’s a bit too citrusy for me. I don’t like Cypress to be mixed with a lot of sour-ish fruit. But it is a nice scent overall and I know most people will love it because I tend to be a picky candle-sniffer! 😆😵💫😷
