Greatest Improvement On Shades

Great Value. Does what it says.

I've had this for about 6 months now and only just had to charge it for the first time. I open and close it at least once a day and it's quiet and smooth. I recommend the light blockers for the edges if you are going to have this inset in the window frame. I didn't get them initially and had to get some afterwards.I got the z-wave motor and it ties into my Home Assistant setup quite well. I have had to re-discover it a couple times to get it communicating again, but that might be due to my own janky setup and not the motor itself.

Cheap brackets

I love it, but the only thing keeping me from adding 5 stars is the brackets. Two of them the spring shot off and one of them came broken. I had to do some Jerry rig to get it to do what hold up.

Blinding

We bought 15 blackout blinds for our house - all with motors and solar charging panels. Fairly simple to install, program and link to Alexa but may take a few attempts and tweaks to get everything set up to suit your requirements. Exceptional support and service from Cherry of SmartWings who was communicative and helpful - even when I messed up the order. Delivery time was in the region of 10 days from confirmation of sizes and spec which IMO is a stunning achievement of manufacturing and logistics.

I suggest when you order you label the room on each blind on your order- this made it so much easier for us to know which room each shade went. The remotes are very user friendly.
