These are great. The main thing with blackout curtains is knowing how to install them to maximize light blockage. Most blackout curtains are going to blackout throughout the body just fine, not let light through, or they wouldn't be blackout. Where it matters is the edges. You want a rod that wraps around, not just a stand-off post or hanger to the rod. This is so you can push the curtain all the way to the wall. These particular curtains handle this VERY well because the top opening has slits an inch or two off the end, so you can force the rod through that slit, and force the curtain all the way to the wall. We got the full length, so there's no leakage out the bottom. Light leakage out the top depends entirely on your rod and anything you have behind it. If you don't get what I'm saying, search it up on Youtube for how to install them.These also have magnetic snaps on all vertical edges, so you can open/close them easily, and you can install some magnets/metal in the wall if you want, to get them to stick directly to the wall.Overall, these curtains are great. Wife loves them and our baby is sleeping better. I'd show you a picture, but it'd just be a dark room.

Overall these aren't Bad, but they sure are something.. On the positive side, they are the appropriate size, they do a good job blocking light, and I really like some of the extra 'features' like extra slits in the tunnel for your curtain rod because it allows them to curve around the window a bit to really block light around the edges. The magnets are another great touch to allow these to really stay together and block light. I like them!However, the material is just not what I expected. It's soft and feels like an old couch. Like an old couch you'd put in your basement, not the living room. It's immediately apparent when looking at it without even having to touch it, but touching it only re-affirms this position. Just an odd material choice. But if you can get past that and see from the photos what you're getting, they are really great at blocking light.

Good standard blackout curtains

First off, I received this product for free via the amazon vine program.I was surprised to see that it came packaged very well in its box and had no weird smells. Now it does come folded and has creases but a quick steam should be able to work it out. The color I received was an off white creamy color, and the back of the curtain (the blackout fabric part) is white colored, just in case you have an HOA or rent with rules that stipulate the curtain color seen from outside your house....Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about them. I would purchase these with my own money and the only thing I would do differently was making sure to measure properly and making sure to get the right sized curtains. I got the length and width flipped lol. Only time will tell if it'll keep for the long run, but currently judging from the weight of it, I would say it should last.

Heavy, well-made, thick blackout curtains with extra features

These curtains are really well made and thought out. They have so many extra features you don't find in the regular blackout curtain.First, the fabric is nice and thick. It's heavy duty so light doesn't peek through. The light tan color can go with many different home design colors. And the pattern is very soft so it doesn't distract a person.Second, the curtains have magnets on each side every 12" or so. This is to help lock the closure of the two together so the light doesn't funnel through. It also has a slit at the top of each side so you can loop your curtain through the rod. This way when closing/opening the curtain you don't have the curtain being pulled away from the outer edge. I didn't loop my curtains in them yet but you can't see the slit when you don't use it. These are features usually found only in higher end curtains. I have all high end curtains in my upstairs level and I couldn't BELIEVE how great and comparable these are to them.Lastly, the curtains have nice thick stitching so when you wash them, you aren't having any loose thread or the fabric doesn't pile or snag. They also contain the heat really well from coming in. You don't really notice it until you open them and realize 20 minutes later how hot the room got and it's all because the curtains.I am 100% loving these and so happy they have all these extra features I didn't realize I was getting when I selected them.
