Great bookends
Exactly what I wanted, so cute and fit my taste perfectly. A little expensive in my humble opinion for what is clearly a cast from a mold.

These are awesome. They hold the books well and look great!
Much better quality than I expected. Would definitely recommend!
I ordered these with pretty low expectations as a lot of things aren't made to be the highest quality anymore. When I received these, I was pleasantly surprised. These bookends are thick, solid and incredibly well made. They are heavy enough to hold multiple books together without leaning or budging. There are no blemishes in the carved areas or paint. The bottoms have a piece of material that allows your shelf or table to not get scuffed while moving them around. The packaging kept them very safe and no chips or cracks took place during delivery. I ordered mine in black and the color was very opaque. Overall, these are aesthetic book ends that give you a lot of value for your money.
I ordered the MXARLTR Skull Bookends for myself as I wanted an esoteric feel for my bookshelf, highlighting my unusual books. And what is more esoteric than skull bookends? The bookends are white, realistic skulls with antiquing on the contours to bring out the details, while the bases are black with a wave pattern on the tops bringing additional interest to an area that is normally boring. The bottoms have non-slip pads to protect your surfaces.Measured together, the bookmarks measure 5.12 inches wide by 5.75" high by 5.43 inches deep. The base of one bookend by itself is 1.07" high by 2.56 inches wide by 5.43 inches deep. The weight of both bookends is 2.86 pounds.Overall, the MXARLTR Skull Bookends look like real skulls without being scary. Set together or separate, they look great and I enjoy the wave pattern on the of the tops of the bases. Additionally, at 1.43 pounds each, they are a good weight for holding up most books. They are well make, well painted and well worth the price point. Five stars.
I’ve been looking for something a bit unique to keep our books in order, and these skull organizers are a total standout. While the black version is fine, the white finish is so much more attractive and has a much higher-end appearance. There's just something about the white that makes the details pop and feels more like a deliberate piece of home decor rather than just a novelty item.My husband and I have them set up on our shelving, and they really elevated the whole look of the room. They feel sturdy, hold the books perfectly, and don't have that "cheap plastic" vibe you sometimes get with gothic-style decor. If you're torn between the colors, definitely go with the white—it looks significantly more sophisticated and expensive than the black ones. It’s a great way to add a little personality to the house without sacrificing style.
I really like these skull book ends. They look like real bleached skulls even actuated by the tanned outlines of the features. They're solid pieces that aren't too heavy. Each piece has felt material on the bottom to aid in slip resistance. They're wide and tall enough that even if some books lean against the skulls they won't move off the shelf. I think these skull book ends make great conversation pieces as they're unique and look great.
