Very easy to use

Used these for a 1200sqft floating carpet tile install and they worked very well. Fairly forgiving on first contact but once they set they hold firm.

Damaged my floors

Left a gooey mask on my floors. We were looking for a solution to reattach our FLOR Brand floor tiles, and went with this product. They did not hold the tiles in place for very long and then once we pulled up all the tiles these adhesive left a gooey tar-like mess on our brand new wood floors. I would not recommend this product.

Holds Rugs in Place

For $32 bucks, this 120-pack of single-sided carpet tape solved my slipping rug problem. It sticks well to hardwood and concrete without leaving residue. I used it on thin rugs and outdoor mats, and it kept corners from flipping up, even with wind or my Roomba running. Installation was fast, just peel and press. I didn’t need tools. The grip is strong, though I noticed some shifting in the middle over time. I had to reapply a few pieces to keep the rug flat. The tape is durable and easy to remove when needed. It’s a good deal compared to roll-style tapes, and safer for homes with kids or pets. If you want a cleaner look or stronger hold, you might need to combine it with double-sided tape. Overall, it’s a reliable fix for loose rugs.

Interesting but useful product

These are not carpet squares, despite how they look—they are actually carpet tape squares. I ended up getting two boxes: one is single-sided and one is double-sided. The single-sided version has adhesive on one side and a sort of grippy mesh on the other that is meant to hold the carpet in place. The double-sided one has adhesive on both sides, which I’ve been using more often.I have to say, I found these a little confusing at first, and I think the product descriptions could definitely be clearer. I’m still figuring out the best way to use each type. The double-sided adhesive works well for me, but I suspect that the single-sided version is actually what I should be using more, I just haven’t quite mastered it yet. From what I can gather, the correct way to use the single-sided squares is to lay them down on the floor, place the carpet or rug on top, and then apply a bit of weight to secure it. That makes sense because it’s supposed to hold the rug in place without sticking to the underside of the carpet itself. So far, I’ve tried it with a small throw rug in front of the door, and it’s working well. The rug isn’t crawling around or flipping up like it used to, which is a big improvement. The adhesive seems to be of good quality—it has a solid grip without being overly sticky or messy.Overall, I’m happy with these and I think they’re effective once you figure out the proper method. They’re a great solution for keeping rugs in place, especially in high-traffic areas, and I’ll continue experimenting to make the most of both the single-sided and double-sided options.

Way Easier Than A Roll

I used these to install a panel-based indoor/outdoor carpet on my front porch. The porch base is a rough concrete that adhesive doesn't work well on, and trying to use a roll of double sided carpet tape was just a messy and ineffective method. This single-serve squares were much easier to use and so far (maybe a month in) have held up perfectly. I wanted to wait until we hit a cold snap before I reviewed since these are on an enclosed outdoor porch and the cold definitely impacts adhesion, but so far there are no issues! Definitely recommend.
