Very easy to use! Good quality, great price! Elegant look, weight is sturdy, not too light, not too heavy. Mine didn’t bend, they are perfect. The screws fit perfectly. Can’t go wrong with these! Recommend! I bought these for outdoor curtains on my balcony, purchased 3 boxes.
Purchased to use across a 161 inch window span with room darkening curtains (heavy weight).Issue: Sunroom gets a good 20 degrees hotter in the summer than the rest of the house due to windows on 3 sides & skylights.I wanted a simple & basic curtain rod to support curtains across the back of the sunroom to try to control the heat issue. Curtain rod needed to extend at least 160 inches and support room darkening curtains. It also needed to allow for ease of opening & closing the curtains throughout the day.I'm very pleased with the rod. Simple, black metal. The brackets (came with 4) and screws functioned as expected. I only used 3 because of the window molding and crown/chair rail molding not allowing for a 4th bracket to be installed.So the rod has a bracket at each end and one dead center. Even with the weight of the blackout curtains, I have not experienced any bowing of the rod. **I will note that if not for the center bracket, it would bow badly.**I'm able to easily glide the curtains open and closed. Very smooth surface on the rod.I'm very happy with the price, quality and functionality of the extendable curtain rod and recommend it to anyone looking for a simple design that is easy to install & use.

This is a very sturdy rod. Adding sections instead of pulling apart 2 sections to vary length makes this much more robust and less likely to sag or fall apart than any other curtain rod I have used. I got it as a replacement for one I bought in a new house that has a giant sliding patio door that takes up a whole wall. The old one sighed horribly, even with plenty of brackets, and had to be adjusted carefully to keep it from falling apart. This one went up quickly and installed easily, and kt shows no sag or problems after a couple of months of use. It is lightweight, but exceptionally strong.My only complaint is a lack of decorative options. In the end it is a very basic looking, but very functional curtain rod, and I would rather have a plain rod that stays together than a great looking one that falls apart. Still, a finial option other than "round cap slightly larger than the rod" would be nice.This set is long enough for huge curtains. My rod needed to be about 12' long, and I had several lengths of rod left over after I was done.
