Nice quality, nice accent piece
I ordered the smallest of the three sized birds in red. They are nicely made and have a very nice weight to them, making them sturdy. There is also a protective pad on the bottom which also helps to keep them from sliding.I am always drawn to bird decor. I wasn't so sure about the look of the eyes on these birds when looking at them online, but seeing them in person, I don't mind the look. The eyes aren't really very noticeable, just the pretty color and sheen of the metal. I think these will make nice accent pieces, especially over Christmastime. I ordered the smallest sized birds for that reason, as they are small enough to fit anywhere and yet add that touch of color and pop and sparkle.I found it is a bit hard to photograph them as the different angles of reflections and light hitting them comes across as dark areas in the photo, so they do look much better in person than in my photos.Priced at $9.50 (when ordering), is a fair value for the quality. I would recommend this bird decor and I would order again, possibly in the medium size.

Pretty Birds
Birds are a big part our lives. We spend decent money on good bird seed to attract beautiful birds so we can watch them in their daily dance on our deck and in our backyard. Bluejays and Cardinals are among those that visit us every day.With that in mind, I thought it would be a fun little gift for my wife to get a couple of these guys for our living room. I was pleased when she said she loved them.The birds are made with resin and come in a variety of colors. I chose red because we enjoy the Cardinals a lot, and have a stained glass window in our kitchen in which a red bird is highlighted as well.The birds are reminiscent of art deco, a style popular from the 1920s to the 1940s. The material looks as if it could be glass or lacquer. It's bright and shiny, eye catching especially in a room that otherwise has a lot of muted colors.The bird statues were well protected in a fine retail box until set free on a shelf in our living room. There they sit, protected on the bottom with some kind of felt material which will keep them from sliding.Not just another knickknack, I'll look forward every day to seeing these striking little dudes as a reminder of their living counterparts just outside our window.

Adorable Accent Piece
I've kinda been obsessed lately with popping a little bit of something that is bright shiny gold into my interior design.
