So freaking soft!!!!

So this is never gonna spend a day on the floor.It is far too nice and too plush and soft for that.I have two faux rabbit fur throw blankets and this rug is comparable to the nicest of those.The deep grey color is gorgeous and really everything I had hoped it would be.I won't use actual animal fur or skins for my own comfort, at all, so the use of a quality faux fur is vital for me in items like this. This is a very high-quality, high-end feeling 500GSM faux fur.Because of its pliablity we have chosen to not put this "rug" in our floor. Despite the backing, likely because it is as pliable as it is, it seems like it would be a slip hazard if we did.With this consideration, how soft and luxurious it is, and how much we just like it, we've been using it as a cover for the foot of our bed.Our cats absolutely appreciate our choice and we certainly aren't disappointed.

Soft, Silky, But......!

All of our floors are polished concrete, so we use quite a few throw rugs throughout the house. I chose this one specifically for our bathroom. The rug isn’t thick, but the fibers are soft, silky, and have a very short pile. It does include a non‑slip backing, which helps keep it in place on the floor.However, the silky pile itself can be slippery when walking on it with bare feet. If you turn too quickly or shift your weight suddenly, your feet can slide out from under you. It’s comfortable and soft, but definitely something to be mindful of.Overall, it looks nice and feels good underfoot, but you’ll want to use a bit of caution when stepping on it.

EXTREMELY silky soft rug!!! Almost too the point that it will be slippery in socks so use caution. The 5x7 size is a perfect addition to my daughter’s bedroom. It is not super thick so it is easy to fold up and store away when we have a change of seasonal decor in her bedroom.
