Having just outfitted my home with a more expensive linen/polyester blend curtain, I chose this set for my bed and breakfast next door. The difference in quality is pretty stark, and considering the price point of these curtains, not at all surprising. That said, here are some thoughts about this budget curtain option.I noticed right out of the package that the fabric felt quite thin and lightweight. While they are advertised as "semi-sheer," the thinness of the material resulted in a level of transparency that compromised the intended privacy. The curtains didn't quite provide the balance between light diffusion and privacy that I was hoping for.The craftsmanship also left something to be desired. I observed uneven seams and a few loose threads, which detracted from the overall aesthetic. Additionally, while the included tiebacks were a thoughtful addition, they were also of lower quality than I had hoped for. Their flimsy construction was disappointing, and they did little to enhance the overall experience.On a positive note, the 52" width and 84" length were suitable for my window, and the beige color was neutral enough to blend with various decor styles. The curtains did allow a gentle, diffused light to filter through, which did create a somewhat serene ambiance.However, I can't overlook the overall lack of quality in the fabric and construction. While these curtains might suffice for a temporary solution or in a space where quality isn't a top priority, they certainly do not meet the standards I would expect from curtains in this price range. For those seeking curtains that strike a better balance between privacy and light diffusion, it might be worth exploring other options.

These are nicely made, shimmering white, curtains. Should go together with any decor. They are semi sheer as if you are really up close you can see through them and they are light emitting .
