Shedding everywhere, every day!

We bought this rug a year ago, and it has been NON STOP shedding since the moment we bought it. We have vacuumed, tried to shed some of the fibers, etc. but it leaves little white pieces all over our house. Super unfortunate as it's become incredibly high maintenance for us.

Debated giving this a 4 star because of the things below but the rug is great value for quality overall so as long as you know those thing… Nothing I hate more than a cheap looking rug and this one looks expensive.A few notes:- it does smell but that mostly goes away- it does shed a lot…still dealing with that a bit but I assume it will stop eventually- the color is way off... I ordered the purple and it basically looks gray with a hint of purple.

I was skeptical about buying this rug because of the price and a couple of the reviews stated that it was darker than the picture, I tried for a while to find something else but kept coming back to this rug, I finally pulled the trigger and I'm so glad I did, it's beautiful, great quality, packaged very well, lays perfect without any folds, lumps or turned up ends, as for as the color, it might be a tiny bit darker than the picture which I was the most nervous about because I wanted a pure cream or off white, I love it so much that don't matter, Pottery Barn has the exact same rug but it's double the price.
