This is a cute and nice resin casting of two seahorses on the bottom of the ocean, along with a small bit of other sea life, and other sea vegetation. I like the detail in the actual sculpture, itself.However, given that I totally appreciate the wonderful variety of often calming and soothing colors of sea creatures and vegetation, I thought that the Seller really missed a big opportunity with this particular figurine. Other than the green leaves of the vegetation, the colors are ... disappointingly ... boring. The sea horses ... the tropical fish on the "back" (?) side, the starfish, the coral ... the sea shell ... are all ... just ... brown / gray.I have an ocean-colored and sea-creature themed bathroom, and I really appreciate calming and soothing sea colors. So I have asked an artistic friend, who likes painting with creativity and beautiful colors, to paint my figurine for me, I'm quite sure that it will make it much more attractive.
I have a coastal themed living room and thought this statue might work well with my other decor.I like the design of the statue, but on receiving it, I felt like it needed more color. It’s pretty bland looking, even with decent texture to the seahorses and fish. I might actually paint it some. I think a pop of color on the fish at least would make it look outstanding.Overall, this is a nice statue.
