Great for nursery but yes, it is STRONG

TLDR: Bought for my 4 yo son's room because the Diaper Genie wasn't cutting it anymore. Reviews that said these are strong are right!My 4yo son is daytime potty-trained, but not yet ready for night time. He had pretty serious GERD as a baby, and his digestive system is still catching up, development-wise. He mostly poops at night/overnight, and so we still have a lot of dirty diapers going into the Diaper Genie, which is almost a decade old because we got it with our first child. I've tried the charcoal packs in the lid, putting Arm & Hammer Odor Balls in the base, and nothing got rid of the poop smell that managed to sneak its way out of his walk-in closet to permeate the air of the entire second floor of our house. You would walk up the stairs and immediately get smacked in the face with the stench.The first day I opened one of the sachets and hung it in his closet (super easy installation to just hang it from a hanger), it was very strong, but I was still skeptical. A few days in and my husband and I both thought the (admittedly much nicer) scent was still too strong and we considered putting it in a sandwich bag on the hanger. Now, a few weeks later and with no sandwich bag on it, it's definitely mellowed out, but it does an AMAZING job keeping the poop smell at bay. I'm still considering the sandwich bag because it's still overpowering in my son's room, but he hasn't had any complaints so far and honestly I'm afraid that the stench would return if I caged in my new superhero.

Maybe it is just the scent I picked but these had virtually no fragrance at all. I shook them up and still got nothing. I wanted something to give a fragrance to drawers so I put a couple in each drawer , may have to put several.
