Timer is VERY convenient!
My candle came with the leather & bergamot scent. I smelled no bergamot, only "leather" so I ordered a refill in a different scent. The leather scent smells clean and fresh, just too strong and not enough citrus for me. It would be good for a game room, pool hall, lawyer's office, stuffy library, maybe a locker room? The smell was too masculine for my spa-themed bedroom.At bedtime, I turn on the candle & set the 15min timer. The flickering candle light and gentle fragrance help me relax and fall asleep.The Because You Are scent is lovely - raspberry, lemon, rose, vanilla. It's very light, slightly fruity, with a subtle, lingering rose. Not in-your-face like room sprays either.This candle would make a nice gift for a special occasion. Nice wedding gift. The candle & refills are fairy expensive. But I think they last a long time, don't produce soot when they burn, have a remote control and safety features. The flame goes out if it tips over. There's an annoying beep that sounds when the base is not level too. And the timer & remote are great features. I also like the USB charging.I had a lot of trouble taking it apart. aREAD THE INSTRUCTIONS! You need to line up the label to get the candle inserted correctly. I did not align the candle in the slot and forced it cloaed.

Great ambiance, but watch your wallet
I've been using this auto lighting and extinguishing candle for nearly a week now and it's honestly a huge relief for someone like me who always forgets to blow the flame out before leaving the room. The coolest candle you could possibly own!
This candle is one of the coolest gadgets I’ve ever seen. A little on the pricier side, but it is unique enough that it’s worth it!You have to make sure you take off the insulating sheet so the candle can make the proper electrical contact. Just follow the instructions and you should be fine.But HOW AWESOME! You can either start it with the provided remote or on the button on the base. It starts up quick and effortlessly and it also blows out and extinguishes easy!They offer a lot more scents from their Amazon site, but there’s surely something for everyone.All in all, this is a GREAT gift for even a personal item for yourself. I’ve never seen anything quite like it so it’s about of fun and a conversation starter.Very cool!

I ordered this thinking it was like a diffuser or something but it really is just a pretty expensive candle. I am not really sure the reasoning behind this but it is an electronic candle. I think the electric part is a timed extinguisher but it really seems like a gimmick to me. The scent is great and it is long lasting but I think this is just a novelty that can be used as a regular candle just the same and with a fraction of the cost. I gave this 3 Stars. It smells great and the candle burns just fine but all the other electronic and charging stuff is just fluff and fun to look at but in reality doesn't add much to the product. This is a great smelling candle but other than that it is extra stuff that isn't really needed.
