Smells Terrible!
I know my scents. This candle has a scent profile listed as lavender, bitter orange, and patchouli. It smells sour like a green apple, and this scent is very strong. The candle is now double bagged in plastic, and I had to put it in the basement. I am familiar with many lavenders, orange scents from orange to Neroli and everything in between, and in my younger days, I was a patchouli girl. This candle smells like none of the above, not even a mixture of the listed scents. SOUR GREEN APPLE! I gave 3 stars for the glass artwork. This is what caught my eye. It is very unique and quite beautiful, but not worth the price. Extremely disappointed.

Tunneled Immediately - Won’t Burn Down Any More
This candle started well. When it first arrived it was packaged beautifully. As i began opening it, i could smell the heavenly scent immediately. The scent was strong enough to smell without having to put it too close to my face. Personally, i am not really a fan of the artwork but i didn’t get the candle for that, i got it because i hoped it smelled good.. which it does.Day one, my issues began almost immediately. I lit the candle and after several minutes, the scent filled the room. I was enjoying the scent and eventually checked on the candle again. Unfortunately, only hours in, it was beginning to tunnel - tunneling means the candle burns directly through the center of the candle instead of melting evenly, as it should.I hoped this would work itself out and I tried a few tricks to correct the problem but nothing was successful. So, i just let it continue burning. After the first day, i could tell this was going to be an issue.The next day, day two, i lit the candle again. It continued to tunnel over day two. It also started going out on its own. I would check it and the flame had been drowned out by the pooling wax. I would drain a little wax and relight it. This happened roughly 2-3 times throughout the hours i had it lit, which was about 6 consistent hours.Day three, i barely had any wick to light. I was able to melt the area around the wick and got enough of the wick to light, but barely. Once i could, I drained a tiny amount of wax to get the flame higher. This did nothing to help as when the flame continued to moved down and more wax melted, it again put out the flame. Day 3 i only got about 30 mins of light time.. it went out constantly in this short amount of time.Finally, on day 3, it went out on its own and now will not relight because the wick is too low and won’t light.. and, because every time i light it, it goes out on it’s own. There is nothing i can do to keep it lit now, despite the methods and tricks i have tried.. this candle is dead - time of death - Day Three.I provided pictures of each day i was able to burn the candle. You can see how little of the candle actually got to burn. Also how much of the candle remains. I absolutely cannot keep it lit now. It didn’t even get half way down.This is a candle, it may be in a pretty container but, it needs to ACTUALLY work as a candle. It is unacceptable that this candle can’t really be burnt as is intended without it having every single candle issue/problem in the book. It’s especially unacceptable that i now have more than half of a wasted candle left but, no way to burn it.So, in conclusion, if you don’t want to burn this, and still want to drop over $60 on this candle, it will work fine for you. But if you intend to burn it, then i absolutely do NOT recommend this candle. I’m shocked that such poor burn performance is an issue with such a spendy candle. I could dig out the wax to use in a wax melter but, i’m not putting that effort in because the candle can no longer be used due to its poor quality.⭐️⭐️ - 2 stars.. initially smells nice and looks pretty but will not and does not burn well or correctly. I got about 2.5 days out of it, now it’s trash. Very disappointing.I DO NOT recommend this candle unfortunately..Thank you for reading my review, i hope it’s helpful 😊💜

I am a little torn on this candle, the art on the outside of the holder is fantastic and very pretty, and since it is such a nice thick quality candle holder it can be used for other things or another candle holder once it has burned down. The candle itself is, I dunno, the wax is fine, it seems to be melting unevenly with my wax warmer, so I imagine if you are burning it then it might be uneven as well. The smell is INTENSE, it is not bad, it actually matches the aroma notes described, but it will punch you in the face from outside of the box.I have only used it once because it was so strong that it gave me a headache, I think if you want a strong candle that will fill up a large room then this candle is great, but a small room or on a desk, YIKES. Also yikes for the price, I was expecting a candle that would be the best thing I have ever experienced, and it is nice, but pricy. I do like that it is artist designed and I can justify that I am paying for the art on the holder (which I am going to turn into a plant pot) and not the candle itself.
