Love this!
This rug is so cute! It is exactly the size it's supposed to be and looks great by my front door. It arrived folded and accordingly a little wrinkled, but it is settling and I imagine those will disappear very soon.Some jute rugs have a bit of offgassing to do when they are unpackaged, but that is not the case with this rug. I have a really sensitive nose and it doesn't really have a smell to me. It also does not have any real noticeable shedding.The way it is sewn means that the scallops were attached to a central rectangular piece, so it is not woven this way and accordingly it is not reversible (second picture shows the back). That's a very minor downside. It also needs a rug pad of some variety underneath it because it does slip around - but that's standard for basically any rug of this size.

Starting to curl up on one end (trip hazard)
I found this jute rug to be just okay but after having it down for a week or so, I’ve noticed that it’s starting to curl upwards on one of the corners which becomes a trip hazard. I’ve already tripped over it once. You can also notice where it was folded when it was shipped and I was hoping that it would flatten out some but nothing yet.I’ve never owned a jute rug before but I do question whether or not if this is an actual jute material. This rug is lightweight but no issues with it sliding around. It’s not terribly rough material on feet. I actually have it at my entryway.No care instructions were included. I know that it’s not washable but does vacuum nicely but I don’t think all the dirt is removed from it and found that it’s easier to shake all the dirt out.No issues with the quality at all this far. I just assumed that it would be heavier in weight.

Thick and beautiful jute rug
This jute rug comes as pictured and described. It’s a thick woven jute mat in a dark honey shade that features a chic, off-white scalloped trim. It looks fabulous by our side door. The rug blends right in with our contemporary-eclectic decor while making a playful statement and serving a practical purpose.The jute is surprisingly soft - much softer than most jute mats I’ve felt - and feels great underfoot. It lays mostly flat around the edges but since it was shipped folded up, it’s still settling.It doesn’t have a rubber backing, but it has stayed in place well so far. The price is slightly high for a 2x3’ rug, but the description states that it’s handwoven and I do appreciate that it’s an eco-friendly and sustainable plant fiber. Overall its a great purchase.

It's cute but it doesn't lay as flat as the listing photos make you think. It's to be expected from a rug made of natural fibers, but I feel the listing photos were slightly misleading as to what this will look like in your home. The product looks just slightly different, but still cute and fairly accurate to the listing.
