Crooked in the middle. UPDATED.

UPDATE: The seller reached out and offered a happy solution for the crooked rod issue we had. Great experience!Since these are sold individually I ordered them twice to have a matching set for two windows. However, the way they are designed and made out of screw together tubes, they both are crooked and look broken at the point where two tubes meet together. If you look at the pictures the seller provided, and then the pictures of what it looks like in real life, and you don't mind having a crooked and bent rod they are fine otherwise. However, at this price I would expect them to be somewhat straight and not so broken in the middle. Sand nickel in real life looks just like any other silver finish and doesn't have the bronze shade it shows on the pictures in the listing.

Interesting design

I’ve never owned a curtain rod like this one. It came with multiple segments that you screw together to get your desired length. One piece allows for sliding the final bar for finer adjustments in length. I took of one star even though I like the rod itself. It had a nice finish and includes minimalist end caps that are simple yet stylish. The reason for the one star deduction is that the design has a flaw: it won’t be perfectly straight because everything screws together. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but every piece is slightly off from being in line with the previous or next one in the segment. Still, I don’t think many people will care much about that.Overall, this is a great value. It’s highly adjustable up to 144” which is a definite plus. I’ve included a picture of the instructions as well so you can see how everything assembles. Rod D slides in and out of C for those finer length adjustments. Part B is a center piece that goes in the middle of the entire thing to add length, and part A is an end piece where you screw in the cap (as is part D).This was very easy to put together, but make sure you use a tape measure and level to ensure you are longing up the mounting brackets correctly (as you would do with any curtain rod). It functions perfectly for my needs, however I would probably stick with more traditional rods in the future since I’m a bit obsessive about everything being lined up right. Those slightly off rods do bother me a bit. Still, it’s a pretty good rod that doesn’t take up too much space while looking good for my needs.
