Fonoguxi Sage Green Leaves Rug - Pretty Design but Very Flimsy for the Money

I got this Fonoguxi rug for a small space in my house because I liked the sage green leaf look. I have been testing it out for a few weeks to see how it would hold up to daily life, and I have some mixed feelings.First off, the price is not great. I looked at some similar rugs and you can usually get a much hardier 3x5 rug for less money than this one. It feels like you are paying a premium for the print rather than the actual construction of the rug. For how thin this is, I would expect it to be a lot more affordable.Speaking of thinness, the quality is pretty disappointing. It is “0.22 inches” thick, which makes it feel more like a towel than a proper rug. While the design isn't directional (meaning you won't mess up the pattern by rubbing your feet on it), it just doesn't feel like it will last. I tried walking on it with bare feet and then with socks. It feels fine with socks, but on bare skin you can feel each hair and imperfection, and any debris. It might be uncomfortable for some people.In terms of usability, it is very easy to clean. Because it is so thin, you can run a vacuum over it without it getting sucked up, and you can feel if there is any dirt or debris under it right away. It is also quite soft if you are just sitting on it, making it okay for a kids room or a decorative spot that doesn't see much action.However, I have to disagree with the advertising. The description says this is good for an entryway or high traffic areas, but I strongly advise against that. I used this in a spot with light foot traffic and I don't think it will last that long there. If you put this by the front door where people wear shoes, it will be ruined in no time. It just won't hold up to that kind of wear.Overall, it looks nice, but the value isn't there. I would only recommend this if you need a very thin decorative mat for a low-traffic room and you don't mind the higher price tag compared to sturdier competitors.
