Lovely braided rug!

Due to an unfortunate accident with a black printer cartridge I had major permanent black stains on my blue wall to wall carpet. The room is large and replacing the carpeting would be a significant expense. Because the brown, blue and tan colors in this rug matched the colors in my room I thought I would try it to layer over the ruined area. Perfect! I purchased the 6’x9’ oval and not only does it cover the mess it looks quite lovely. It is thinner than the expensive braided rugs I have in other rooms but that thinness is exactly what I needed. It flattened out nicely once unrolled and had no strange odors. I probably would not put it in a high traffic area and I will be careful, as recommended, with vacuuming. But for under $200 it is a great solution for me and would be a fine rug for others who don’t want to invest big bucks in a floor covering.

Shabby Looking

I loved the color and the size is perfect as I needed a large oval rug and there aren't many out there. However, it wasn't long before this started fraying. Now it looks horrible. I had a braided rug 40 years ago that NEVER did this, even after 10 years of wear and tear. This rug was a huge disappointment. I guess it's a case of you get what you pay for.
