Thick and soft

Really nice. The color doesn't match the photo; the orange isn't bright at all, and is very close to the color of my oak wood floor; there's a lot of brown in the color, so its closer to russet than orange.Nonetheless, I like it very much. The 6x6 size is hard to find but but very useful. The wool is very thickly woven and soft. Feels so much denser and softer than acrylic or polyester, is easy to vacuum and will last much longer. I had a little shedding the first time I vacuumed, but none since. The quality is much better than what I expected for this price.

Shedageddon

Great price point for a wool rug, but you get what you pay for and the shedding is a real flaw. I read reviews about the shedding, and assumed it was people not used to the light shedding a rug does when vacuumed, but I was wrong: this thing sheds atrociously all the time. It’s beautiful in my space, a rust rather than an orange, soft under bare feet. Buts here’s a shot of it after having a few people over; it shed so bad some guests made it a party game to collect fistfuls of it.

Not as bright orange as in the photo but lovely still.

The rug arrived early. I don't think people give enough credit to Amazon. The rug arrived wrapped well and secure. It is a bit darker than the photo. It is closer as some have already noted, to more on the rust side. It unrolled without issue and the corner were slightly turned up which is normal. The rug is only days old and there has not been any shedding that we notice. It was promptly vaccumed front and back when it unrolled it. It is not in a high traffic area so I do't expect it to shed very much. It is a thick, soft rug. It adds an air of quiet to the room that is neither somber or dull. So far so good.

Great accent rug

Bought this to go as accent rug in bedroom. It is exactly as shown and looks very pricey. I gave it a good vacuum with a regular vacuum cleaner and wool filled the canister in no time. Wool rugs can shed for up to 6 months or more so I hope it gets better. My next test is to see you if my new $900 Roomba will clean it. I have 2 older Roomba that keep on ticking along and they have never had a problem with my other 2 wool rugs. One is very expensive and still sheds some after 4 years. All in all, happy with my purchase. UPDATE: Roomba J7 plus does a great job cleaning, and has no problem going from hardwood to rug.

This is my third rug from the Himalaya Collection

I bought the first two in 2017. One 4x6 is in my entry, the 2x4 foot in a short hall. They have held up extremely well to the dirt, beach debris, and water we are constantly tracking in. I just had the first two professionally cleaned using hot waterextraction method and they look new again! They don’t shed or pill or fray. They are thick and soft and very comfortable under foot. I bought the third one for an exercise room/office and plan to use it for yoga, it’s a 5x8. The first thing I did when I unrolled it is lay right on it. These rugs are very high quality and so inviting. They lay flat and are nearly unmovable on our wood floors, I do put a thin rubber rug pad underneath, so there’s no tripping or sliding. The colors on the 2017 models have held extremely well and I do not see any fading, the new rug is the same color and they match perfectly. I would 100% recommend this collection to anyone seeking a high quality natural product. The pricing is unbelievable. So happy!!!
