I purchased both the 11’ runner & a matching 4’ area rug. The colors were accurate, both rugs are nice & plush, and look great. I don’t know about durability yet, but I spot cleaned an area & it washed nicely. I would buy both again!
Shipping was fast and the rug was in perfect condition. It matches the giant rug that I put in my living room even though they were from different vendors. Colors and quality are great! And I liked it so much I bought two more rugs from Safavieh. Thank you.
We purchased several of these rugs in various shapes and sizes in a gray and ivory color and were not disappointed in any of them. They run pretty much true to size and measurements listed and are quite soft even without a pad which we did go ahead and purchase anyway for in our kitchen work area to make it even softer and kinder to walk and work on. We did not however purchase any pad for under our dining table and do not need it there the rug is thick enough to provide just the right amount of comfort since we are only sitting in this area anyway and it lays quite nicely as well. The colors are great being somewhat darker than pictured which we love anyway and had read in some of the other reviews. The quality is there and shows, I am quite pleased with these rugs and would highly recommend if you are on the fence about buying as I was online don't be you will not be disappointed.
I purchased the 2'6" x 4 '2" Safavieh Evoke Collection Vintage Navy rug to put in front of my bathtub. It's a beautiful rug, and the color is an exact match to the photo. It's a deep, soft, muted blue with ivory accents. It has a wonderful pile, although it's not nearly as soft as I'd like. My main complaint and reason for four stars instead of five is that the pattern is not nearly as pronounced on the rug in person as it is in the photo; it just kind of looks like a jumbled mess. Perhaps, the pattern would look much better on a larger rug. Other than that small quibble, this rug goes beautifully with my decor, and it actually serves as a decent bath mat and stands up to water well, even though that's not its intended purpose. It's a great addition to any room and really brings a space alive.
I had a shaggy, white 5x8 carpet here, and replaced it with this 8x10 carpet... And I'm over the moon with the purchase. The price was amazing and it arrived quickly! Usually a carpet this size costs twice as much. Going up in size has made the room appear twice its size. I was concerned that the Navy color would be too dark, but the color is more a blend of Navy and Royal blue. It's not extremely thick or plush, yet the quality still seems really good. It vacuums nicely and I'm hoping we get years of use from it! This is my second purchase of a Safavieh carpet through Amazon. I've been thoroughly satisfied with both purchases, even though I was initially nervous buying a large piece sight unseen (ie. Not seeing it in person, or being able to feel the texture and thickness). It's a beautiful addition to our home.
I ordered this rug in a different color years ago when I lived in a different house. It held up in a very low traffic room, but the color no longer works in this house. So I ordered the same rug again in silver/ivory, and I have to say I love, love, love.Comparing to the same rug from 10 years ago, it now seems to be thinner. But it is just as soft, has no smell, and there's no shedding at all. I will probably add a rug pad before my furniture arrives. I have heavy items helping it to flatten out from shipping, and after just half a day, it's nearly flat on its own.The silver is what I would call pale gray. Some reviews mentioned that it's more of a blue gray or green gray. And I do see why people have said that, but don't let that stop you from ordering if you're worried about the color. Looking at the rug, it definitely does not read "blue" or "green." The colors in this rug are true to the way it looked in the images on my devices. Just a pale gray, and there is a lot of ivory in it. While the ivory is not a true white, it doesn't clash at all with the trim and doors that ARE true white in my home.In my images, note that the windows in the background are on the north side of my home. This side will always have less light than other exposures, so if you get more sun the rug may appear washed out, lighter, or more white. I'm picky about things like this, but in my space it's perfect. I added some images with the lamp on as well for comparison.I just received the rug, so I can't comment on stain resistance. It's true to size for me. I'm also not concerned about slip resistance since I will have heavy furniture on it.Hope this helps.
This rug is lovely if you are looking for a ROYAL blue rug with just a touch, if that, of navy. I was looking for a classic navy. I saw the other reviews, so purchased a small version first. The smaller size has the colors a LOT more condensed, so it appeared darker. The quality was great for the price point and rolled out flat quickly, it was also very soft. We returned it only due to the color... they really shouldn't advertise it as navy.
