I'm so glad I bought this rug. BTW, the other reviews on this product page don't seem to be about the rug. They seem to be about a bracelet so I'm not sure what's going on there but I'm reviewing the 4' x 6' Safavieh Cape Cod Collection jute rug. Anyway, I wanted a braided rug that would brighten up our dressing room. That room has dark furniture, blue wallpaper and hardwood floors. This rug provides a splash of color the room desperately needed. The colors in the rug I received are cornflower blue, dark red (almost a crimson red), small amounts of light pink and, of course, the jute itself. I've never had a jute rug before so I'm certainly no expert on jute rugs but it appears to be good quality and I absolutely love the look of the jute combined with the bright colors. I'm so happy with it!!!! It's become the focal point of the room and has accomplished my desire to perk up the room with color.

Dark pink in overall color. Some imperfections.

It's a very dark pink color overall - a lot darker than we had expected. There's some pieces that are coming through or loose, not sure if that's just the nature of this kind of rug but I get the impression it won't last as long as we had hoped. It's not flat in the middle, hopefully it will flatten out with time, but it's very wavy.
