As one with a debilitating birth defect that affects every joint, and literally every square inch of my body, I've tried out umpteen types of surfaces to sleep on.That's what I got this for, instead of a tatami mat. I so wanted the mat, but was afraid of allergies.This ginormous rug delivered! Soft,and plenty big enough, just the right pop of color, thick enough, and surprisingly did not smell. A tad of a concern since I'm sensitive to scents. But best of all? I have not woken up with my rib out, which happens with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome).I especially love that it's all natural material. No foam or faux anything.Have not folded or had the need to wash yet, but looks pretty easy to clean according to manufacturer care guide.No photo, my space is private 🥰

Love love love my rug! Color, size and style are perfect for the living area of my travel trailer. I’m also pleased with the quality, particularly at its cost. As others had mentioned, it was a little bubbly when I first unrolled it, but after being on the floor for several days and being walked on, it flattened perfectly and since it’s a great weight, it will hold it shape. It does slide around a bit, but you could easily rectify that with a rug liner if it was problematic for you.

Beautiful but know what your buying first. This rug is supposed to be imperfect

I love the colors! I was a little worried it would be too much but it's just right. A found a fair bit of loose thread on the carpet where the loops were to loose and didn't thread together tightly. Also I found 2 spots where the stitches didn't grab both sides of the fabric and there is a seam hole in those spots. I did expect some imperfections as it's a hand braided rug. I know I can fix the hole easily but I was a little bummed I had to do it right away. Also big tip... Do NOT Use a roller option vacuum it will rip the thread ends that are loose and make more holes as well as pull up the fabric ends as well. I went I to this with that knowledge so no issues I didn't expect but for the buyer unprepared you might be extremely disappointed in the make and sturdiness of the rug in general.
