As one with a debilitating birth defect that affects every joint, and literally every square inch of my body, I've tried out umpteen types of surfaces to sleep on.That's what I got this for, instead of a tatami mat. I so wanted the mat, but was afraid of allergies.This ginormous rug delivered! Soft,and plenty big enough, just the right pop of color, thick enough, and surprisingly did not smell. A tad of a concern since I'm sensitive to scents. But best of all? I have not woken up with my rib out, which happens with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome).I especially love that it's all natural material. Love love love my rug! Color, size and style are perfect for the living area of my travel trailer. I’m also pleased with the quality, particularly at its cost. As others had mentioned, it was a little bubbly when I first unrolled it, but after being on the floor for several days and being walked on, it flattened perfectly and since it’s a great weight, it will hold it shape. It does slide around a bit, but you could easily rectify that with a rug liner if it was problematic for you.

Colorful Rug

I received the rug earlier than expected which was nice. It's definitely more colorful than the pictures show, but I knew that when ordering so no surprise that mine is more colorful as well. I was actually hoping it was, so another plus. I ordered the 7 x 9 oval, and it's the actual size. It's much smaller than my previous 7 x 9 but maybe because that one was rectangular. Had I figured that out, I would have probably ordered a larger one, lol. It's somewhat soft, but not crazy soft. After all, it's woven material intertwined so not as soft as say a shag. It rolled out flat so no issues with creases either.I bought this to match my many different color quilts that I change up throughout the years as well as my art work on the walls. It fits the bill perfectly.The only reason for 4 stars is because it has a mildewy smell that hasn't went away. It was tightly wrapped and also had those silica packets, however they didn't help. My windows are open and I'm spraying Febreze so I'm hoping it goes away soon because I can smell it as soon as I walk in my bedroom.

This rug adds SO MUCH interest and color to the room! Different — don’t see this rug at Kohl’s!I love the multi-colors, bright and yet not the least bit bold or overwhelming. It’s in the guest bedroom so it is not used hard. Soft (not luxuriously soft) in bare feet and comfortable. It vacuums well. I liked the rug as soon as we laid it out on the floor.
