Unwrapping the rug was easy and it fell into a flat layer easily. Beautiful texture and I can tell it is very well made. It does not have a rubber backing so it’s reversible. Definitely worth the price!
Absolutely love this rug!! It’s so soft and really is beautiful. It took me a while to order it because I haven’t had great luck with other rugs that I ordered online but this was a win!Only thing that I’ve had a problem with is that due to it being thin(which overall I love), you almost need the sticky rug pad things to keep it in place. It tends to want to move when vacuuming over it and with my littler boy or the dogs running over it.
Original review 2/2021: I wish the grey and white pattern were reversed, honestly. The grey is quite a bit darker, taking up much more of the pattern, than the photos show. My eyes and feet tell me it is a soft and stunningly beautiful rug (no odor and well-made) but I was hoping for something much lighter for my kitchen runner. Since this is a backup rug to my Dash & Albert cream striped runner, I will keep it. HIGHLY recommend though! Top notch quality and lovely to the touch, as my little cat can testify to! :)Updated review March 2022: I just ordered the identical runner so I could have two and look at the difference that a year makes in the photo! I assumed the new rug, identical serial number, was wrong since it was so dark but looked up my review and sure enough, it matches with the photo of my cat. SO, if you think it is too dark, was it 5-6 times and it will fade nicely to this soft grey. I have put the two runners side by side so you can see the difference a year of washing makes. The original runner is in perfect shape by the way., after all this time, just lighter.
Loved the rug so much that I bought a replacement for when this wears out. This is in our bedroom, we do not use a rug pad with it. It is very flat, so you would need a rug pad if you are looking for a thicker rug. The color goes so well with my bedding/decor. We live in a very sunny location and after 3 years have noticed some fading. If it were easier to get out from under our king bed I would rotate the rug quarterly or at least no-annually to help with the fading. It’s not reversible due to the ends being folded over and sewn for a finished end look, it’s a shame as it would prolong the life of the rug and offer a change in the pattern. Love the rug!
This is a gorgeous rug, but I do not think it would be suitable for a high trafficked area, or if you have animals. The rug picks easily. Nice thick material and you would need a rug gripper underneath, especially if on a wood floor. Was disappointed to have to send it back.
Rug is soft - more of a chenille texture than a rag rug texture. Color is more of a gray green than a true gray. Beautiful!
Beautiful rug, I get all kinds of compliments and it’s super soft. The only reason I would take away a star is that it slides around like crazy and even after adding a rug gripper underneath I still have to adjust it a couple times a day. Otherwise it’s perfect!
