Great rug! Bright colors, good quality.

The colors are bright and maintain their appearance even when walked on daily. The fibers are sturdy and tightly woven. I haven’t noticed any fraying or separation. I have the same pattern rugs in different places and you cannot tell which ones are walked on daily and which ones have almost no traffic. One is in the direct sunlight and the colors show no signs of fading. I love these rugs!

if you are sensitive to smells ......

great rug, but .. I knew a wool rug in this price range would probably have a smell that is not just from the wool - and it did. So I unwrapped mine on my lawn ( summer) when no rain was forecast. I sprayed the front with 3% vinegar and water mix and left it to dry for a day or two in the sun. Flipped it over and sprayed the back and let that dry in the sun. That took care of about 95 % of the musty / chemical smell and left a faint smell of vinegar which i knew would dissipate in a week. By the time my daughter arrived for a visit there was only the natural wool smell left in the rug. Its now 2 months later and there is still a faint wool smell when I enter the room but I like the smell of wool so I have no problem with that. This is an unusual colorful but still subtle rug, and looks great in my spare bedroom with cream colored walls and pine floors. Also...I ordered the 10' square rug even though Amazon's picture on the 10' square page is wrong.
