Absolutely Stunning—-My All-Time Favorite Amazon purchase
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Stunning — Worth the Price Five Times Over!I absolutely love this rug! It looks stunning and feels luxurious — truly worth the price five times over. I originally had a rug that cost around $4,000, and I replaced it with this one from Amazon. Honestly, I like this rug so much better than my original. It’s very soft to walk on, easy to clean, and looks far more expensive than it is. My grandkids love sitting on it to play because it’s that comfortable! Some other reviews mentioned shedding, but I want to clarify that it doesn’t shed during daily life — only when vacuuming. The first few times I vacuumed, I noticed a lot of fuzz in the canister, but otherwise it’s been perfect.I have it in my living room, and I can’t get over how amazing it looks. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Love the rug
Love my new area rug. It’s high quality and nice and thick so it elevates the space like a designer rug would do.

Love love love!
This rug is beautiful! I love the colors, the texture and the size is perfect. It stays in place, no slipping. It holds up well with our four kids and two dogs. It does shed, but with a husky mix I have to vacuum at least once a day anyway, so it’s fine. It’s the perfect winter white and light blue, with specs of darker blue. I absolutely love it.

Sheds a lot of fibers
I love the look of this rug but it really sheds a lot of fiber even after a month of vacuuming every few days

Superb Quality
This is the 4th Safavieh carpet I've bought & the wool has always held up beautifully, esp. in high traffic areas. Purchased this smaller area rug for a bedroom as a temporary fix, until the older wall-to-wall will be replaced in the coming year (1 small spot is quite worn). Being neutral, pattern blends in nicely & will compliment a variety of comforters.

Gorgeous but SMELLS
UPDATE:July 2023. I have had this rug on my bedroom floor (low traffic) for 10.5 months and am lowering to 2 stars. It was pretty, that's about all of the positive. I am now convinced that it is not sheep's wool but a goat hair rug. In my youth I helped out on a hobby farm and took care of the whole thing when the owners went on vacation every year. I have babysat donkeys, sheep, chickens, rabbits and... goats. I know what their hair feels like. Also goats are extremely mischievous, I really recommend watching your butt around the playful weirdos. Anyway, back to the rug. Normal life happens, dogs track stuff in before you can catch their feet, etc. It is true that using a vacuum with a roller bar will cause this rug to shed badly. So will cleaning it with a professional grade carpet cleaner. Every shed has given me gobs of short straight wiry hair. It may be that this rug has a real wool base but there is a LOT of goat hair filler if it isn't100% goat. It's infuriating and it freaking stinks. Every time I have to shampoo it I have to chase that with a good coat of baking soda to let the smell get soaked up before I vacuum it up. Plus its just more discolored as time goes on- it just looks dirty all the time now no matter what I do. Once upon a time I had a decent opinion of Safavieh. No longer. Their natural fiber weave has been a disaster and the synthetics get thinner and thinner with a border that gets horribly misshapen if you shampoo them. I suppose if you have no intention of ever allowing anyone to touch a rug and cover it in plastic or something you might be alright. Otherwise you're going to be replacing rugs left and right.Original: Beautiful rug, and for a handwoven wool rug it's honestly a steal. Stinks to high heaven though, the entire second floor of my house smells like ganga and goat poop. I opened and unrolled the rug about 6 hours ago, and the only thing I did was treat it with scotch guard. Windows have been open all day and it still really, seriously stinks. Bad. No other rug in my house smelled like this from scotch guard, and I've been using it for years on every rug in my home. This is not a chemical type stink, this is like boots on a farm stink. The only other purchase I've made in my life that smelled this bad was a handmade goat leather bag years ago from India.. and I was never able to get rid of the smell in that bag. I just dumped arm and hammer with oxiclean odor eater stuff all over the rug and will let that settle in for a while before checking the smell up there again. It's possible we'll be 'camping' downstairs tonight... wish me luck!
