After searching for the perfect area rug to soften and balance the deep brown of our living room furniture, I finally found this one by Safavieh. I especially love creamy colors and the gray diamond pattern is fresh and modern without being harsh. It’s exactly as described here on Amazon. And because we have hardwood floors, I also ordered a felt and rubber pad to put under this rug, making it seem a bit more plush. Oh, yeah, and our dog LOVES it!
Beautiful and well made
For the money, I think this a great rug. I like that it is a nice soft white color...not bright white and not yellowish/beige either. To me, the lines look light gray, not taupe...but I bet the color of your furniture could affect how you see them. I also like the pile...I didnt want super high. Easy to vacuum, doesn't shed, and has a very slight new carpet smell that should be gone soon. I'm sensitive to smell and it doesn't bother me. Overall great rug in my humble opinion. Classic/contemporary/comfy!
I have purchased many area rugs from Safavieh in the past and they are usually very good quality rugs. This one, however, was not. It's very thin and it sheds a lot. The coloring makes it look dirty too. I'm really surprised. This is usually a good company to buy from. Disappointed.
I bought this rug for my daughter's first apartment. It looks really pretty and is very soft. We love it.
