The sea foam color is exactly like the picture on the website. Matches my sea foam curtains to a T! People complaining about how thin it is are wanting to live a champaign life on a beer budget. Yes you can see the padding *IF* you get down on throw rug and separate with your fingers. Come on people... this is a gorgeous rug at an affordable price. Its quite heavy which speaks volumes! I am so in love. Definitely would order again.
I’ve had this rug for a few days so far. I was surprised by the quality of Safavieh rugs and couldn’t wait to submit a review. The first thing I noticed was how good the rug smelled. Some rugs that are purchased online have a weird chemical smell after being shipped. However, this rug smelled very fresh and I love how it continues to make the living area smell. This particular shag rug is very good if you want to create an urban/modern look and the pile height seems easy to clean without damaging the quality. I’m not objectively able to rate how easy it is to clean the rug yet. This is why I haven’t rated the rug in that area. I tend to vacuum daily or every other day. However, I don’t have a lot of traffic in the area where the rug is placed, so I wanted to wait for 1 week before vacuuming. If anyone else has had experience cleaning this particular shag rug, please let me know.
UPDATE - After three months of semi heavy traffic - holiday parties and my Shepherds using it daily as a wrestling mat - it has broken in nicely. It also cleans up easily! Overall happy with this one... ☺UPDATE - we were in a bind and ended up using the rug in our living room. For the size and price, you will not beat this deal. It does look nice in our room, so I'm giving it a solid 4 stars now. The texture is almost crunchy when you walk on it, and it is def not a 2" pile, but other than that, it's a steal of a deal for under $150.This was a massive disappointment. The rug is super cheap and I am crazy sad because it looks so nice and plush in the images. The pile is half of what is advertised and it is super thin. The price was a steal for the size but now I know why. This bad boy is going back. Sad day.

This is the fifth Safavieh rug I have purchase, the others were smaller but have held up really well., so I thought that I couldn’t go wrong buying another one.When we peeled the sticker off of the back of the rug the carpet fibers came with it. After laying it down and vacuuming it, the rug is very sparse, the white weave shows through the carpet fibers. I’m really disappointed, for how much it cost and the brand name I was expecting a quality rug.Now I have to decide whether it is worth the hassle to return it.
NOT WHITE!!!!! It’s off white like beige or country white. Very disappointed because it claimed to be white. It’s not very soft like the picture shows. Seems thin. NOT THICKThey should NOT advertise the color of the rug to be white because it’s not. I’m very very disappointed. It doesn’t match my room. I needed white😕I bought a grey smaller one for my daughters room and it was beautiful, nice and thick, soft, but the beige one I have is not as thick or soft.
I purchased this for a bathroom. The price at just over 22.00 dollars is amazing. It's not true white which I knew from other reviews. I wanted a creamy white so it's perfect for me. You need to reroll it opposite of the way it arrived to get the wrinkles to relax. You also need a rug gripper pad which I always use. I'm very happy with my purchase! It's been down for about an hour and after placing it over the rug gripper and vacuuming, it looks great! Vacuum to fluff up the nap, after all its been in a tight roll and wrapped in heavy plastic.
