Boho whimsy and durability.

Got it for my cats food area. The colors are beautiful and vibrant and it withstands their clawing at it. They love the textures. I love that it adds color and functionality to my space. Only downfall is that it's not slip resistant, so if they hit it with the zoomies, food goes flying as it slides across the floor. But its nothing a non-slip mat cant fix.

Cute, good quality rug for my boho style bedroom

I ordered this rug to match another one (same brand, style and color- ivory/multi, cape cod collection by safavieh) that I ordered previously but the round version.While this rug is very cute and will work, the colors weren’t the same as the first one I ordered. This rug was darker, not so much “ivory/ multi color” but more of a “ brown natural/ multi color.”This is my third safavieh brand rug and they seem to be good quality for the price. They are fairly thick, soft and have pretty colors.These woven rugs can be a bit tricky to clean, so use caution. I attempted to run a vacuum over one and part of one of the pieces of fabric came loose and I had to re-weave it back in. Now, I either spot clean by hand or go “old school” with the hang on a clothesline and beat with a broom method.I have hardwood floors and these rugs tend to slip around fairly easy. Mine aren’t in high traffic areas so I haven’t needed to secure, however one may need to invest in a rug gripper pad for underneath to avoid a slip and fall.Overall, I really like my rug and am happy with my purchase. I was going for a boho style look in my bedroom and this rug was what I needed.

Horrible, dangerous, and poorly made

This rug is the worst. It looked great for about 2 weeks until one of the seams opened up and pieces of the woven cotton fabric started popping up. It makes it almost impossible to vacuum. You can only use the suction on the vac but definitely not the roller. Now the rug has at least 4 seams that are 3 inches and larger opening up and getting worse. The rug has only been down for 27 days but it's so matted and has so many pieces popping out that the surface looks like it's several years old. Unfortunately we bought it before we finished laying our new lvp floor so we never laid it out until we had it for several weeks. When we received it we opened it, pulled it out, unfolded it, then rolled it up like the instructions said. Then unrolled it a few weeks later when we finished the floor and had our new leather sectional delivered. So unfortunately, we missed the return window and are stuck with this 10'x14' junky rug I wouldn't use in my garage because of the tripping hazards the opening seams are creating. Do not buy this rug or any other like it in a different size unless it's somewhere you will never walk on it.
