Amazing!

I love this rug so much! The coloring is beautiful! It blends with my floor very nicely. It will not show any dirt. It is easy to clean as dirt just falls right through it. It's thick and chunky and cool looking. I did put a nonskid pad under it as my senior dog jumps up on the bed from it. It took a few days to get used to walking on those knots barefoot but it's totally worth it. I way prefer this to those fuzzy fleece feeling rugs. And with shoes on, it feels cushiony and thick. Fantastic! And safevieh makes quality rugs at a decent price.

Very nice jute rug

Ordered this to replace a 9 year old jute rug that had started to unravel on one corner. This one looks very nice and the quality seems excellent. I am ordering a second one for another door. Remember, these are not heirloom rugs. Dirt will pass through and needs to be cleaned with care.But, we love the look.

Absolutely amazing! In love! This rug is so well made and just gorgeous. It comes kinda folded and rolled which made me nervous but the braiding and looping is so thick, once you unfold it, it lies perfectly flat. I got the 9x12 size. The rug also kinda gives your feet a massage. Just awesome! I truly love this rug and it’s just such a great price for an ultra luxury textured look.

It's a Superior Jute Rug

I read so many reviews and looked at so many rugs both online and at stores, and was nervous to pull the trigger, as we needed the large size, 10 x 14. We've had jute rugs before, including in this family room which is an 18 x 32 foot space. When we opened this rug there was no smell. NOT AT ALL. It unrolled and we haven't vacuumed it after two days, there was no debris. It feels great to your feet in socks, though not so great in bare feet. We did order a pad for it, a 1/4 inch pad, and will put it under when it gets here soon. Did I mention the rug came four days early? I was thrilled (but it only had to come from two counties over). I suggest the farther you're shipping the more wear on the rug wrapping, obviously. It came on a rainy day with those dessicant things (anti-moisture packets) rolled up in it, wrapped entirely in plastic. We just could not be more pleased with this rug and the value. Our previous jute rug was from a furniture store and we probably paid four times more for it at least. Recommend this rug highly, IF you're looking for that designer look with the chunky texture it brings to a big room. I will report back if it wears very quickly or puts out more than normal "dirt" below. I expect a little of that from natural fiber rugs and this is a high traffic area. But for the $ I think it's a great value!

Great, natural looking rug.

This is a great rug. As other reviews mentioned there is a scent when you first open the rug, but after about a day it goes away. It is not a bad smell, just smells a little like grass. It took a couple of days for the rug to set and not curl at the edges. I have had it for almost three months and it’s completely broken in and I’m still happy with the purchase.I was worried it would feel uncomfortable on my feet, but it feels fine.We use a robot vacuum several times a week, and it does just fine on the rug. It has really helped to keep the rug clean. It does vacuum loose fibers each time, but that has helped to keep the fibers off my feet and socks.

I ordered the 9 X 12. It is a very heavy thick weave and is not at all comfortable to walk on. I was remodeling the room it was intended for, so I didn't open it and put it on the floor for quite some time after receiving it. It has now been on the floor and with very light traffic for about a week. Tonight I looked underneath the rug and it is filthy. The jute was evidently not clean and has transferred dirt to my floor which is upsetting. I'm not sure what I am going to do with it, but would not have purchased if I had known the texture of the weave and the problem with dirt and particles of debris falling out of the rug.2-3-2026 I have had this rug for several months now. The dirt coming from the jute is awful. I would love to return it, but have had it too long, so am going to donate it to a thrift store. I feel really bad about paying so much for it and not being able to enjoy it. I can't stand the way it sheds dirt and other particles.
