This is really cool, and I think it’s pretty unique. Haven’t had any issues with it falling over or breaking so it seems to be about the right weight and decent quality. The color is nice and the size was actually a little bigger than I was expecting which was nice.
We are doing our home in a Modern style, but when we saw this handmade horse that is definitely a Western look, we will have to make it blend. I honestly don’t think that we will have a problem since this horse statue is so stunning. I can definitely place it with our collections of fossils. They will all look fantastic together.I would also like to add this horse figurine along with some of my greenery. I have a lot of plants, both real and fake. There are actually many ways that I can place this “in action” horse figurine along. I actually can’t wait to place him in several different spots and see where he likes to be the best.I also wanted to add that the price for this handmade horse is very reasonable. This horse is made of iron and not only was he handmade from the bottom up, but the rustic finish on him was done by hand as well. There is a reason that he looks so good on my bookcase next to our fossils.

I got this as a gift for a friend that loves and rescues horses, and she loved it. This hand-crafted metal sculpture seems well made for the most part, and is done so with good quality material(s). This piece has a very nice rustic, yet contemporary and minimalist look. It is nicely hand-crafted with care and attention to detail, making this metal art a great addition to almost any interior design. My only (minor) issue, and the reason for the four star rating, is that the base is not perfectly flat, and I was not able to adjust it to make it so...not a huge issue, but worth mentioning.Bottom line; this is a very nice hand-crafted piece of metal art. Impressive look and quality for something light weight. Very impressive and draws attention. My college's mascot is a horse and I have this with some of my alumni items and I get lots of positive comments about it. They think its an expensive purchase from the college book store (hehe). Great value, well made, and a great decor addition.

Sorry but this thing is SO cheap in appearance to me!! Came in a old looking sad looking cardboard box that had been taped up repeatedly it looked like on both ends- and was wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap- and taped over that too.... the tail was completely bent over but managed to not break off when I straightened it up- but the metal is pretty thin and won't do so if you packed it BACK up to ship again without being more careful! I feel I'm being a bit harsh as I see other reviews but do notice that they all look a bit different and I like another that doesn't have the "eye" placement mine does! I just think that the presentation didn't leave me with a good taste in my mouth off the bat! Someone even took the time to take a "made in China" little oval gold sticker (that I abhor!!) over a piece of the horse and squeezed it in half over the metal!Overall- it just seems like a mass produced product that would be more like $10-15 tops that would be pretty decent for that price- but at $40 I expected more! Maybe I'm more of a snob than I realize ;-) lol !!! Oye ;-)Being a lifelong horse lover....and an artist who works in metal and mixed media... this is conceptually nice- but in execution has some sad soldered areas (like weld for those not familiar) though I've DEF seen worse!! Therefore a 3 star rating- Honestly in looks alone- if it weren't for the eyes, (round mounds with big holes- make it almost cartoonish that I don't see otherwise!) I could come to really appreciate it- but as it is- I'll honestly probably use it as a 'base' to add on and make my own cool little horse that is all my own- art is definitively "in the eye of the beholder" so hard to 'rate' in that respect- so tried to focus more so on quality, condition, etc. as mentioned above!!Will say the more I look at it, it does remind me of the huge metal horses that graced my city (Gloucester, VA) up until recently when I saw them being packed up! Guess they were temporarily on loan?? but had hoped that they were like the Mermaids of Norfolk...FYI- I'd not be happy to send this directly as a gift- I'd wrap myself in different packaging at the very least and be sure the tail etc are intact ;-)Sorry- hard one to critique- hope it helped a bit!
