Beautiful rug - exactly what I wanted!!!

I was looking for a runner for my kitchen that 1) was just the right size for my relatively small kitchen; 2) wouldn't move on my engineered wood floors that are slippery; 3) was easy to maintain/clean -- this rug meets all 3 of my requirements. In addition.....I love traditional red and blue colors in an area rug AND I wanted a runner that looks distressed....again these 2 wishes of mine are met in this rug. I literally just laid this rug down so it still has the folds in it but reviews about this rug say that the folds will eventually flatten out.Delivery - as always with Amazon - was on time; item was well packaged; and this time, the driver even rang my doorbell to let me know delivery was here.It took me a long time on Amazon to find a runner since (I admit) I had specific requirements and I'm always appreciative of the reviews that people leave (both good and bad). It's hard to buy a rug online without actually touching it, or seeing it - since computer monitors vary on color presentation. On Amazon, the rug appears a real, darker red when in fact, it isn't.I hope this review helps others and my photos show true colors and distressing.EDITED: I am lowering my star rating by 1 star because the card that came with the rug provides instructions on cleaning it, however, it also states that "...rug can only be washed SEVERAL times...." That tells me that it after washing it "several times" you can't wash it again and just have to vacuum it. Absolutely NO mention of that in the description. It's not like I planned on washing it once a week or even once a month, but some mention should have been made that it's not washable forever.

I was skeptical about buying a large rug at such a great price point, but boy am I glad I did! It’s exactly what I wanted. While it’s not thick a cushy, it’s soft and comfortable on bare feet. We already had a thick rug pad that gives it a little more cushion. The creases fell out within a few days, and the corners were immediately flat. It’s beautiful and worth the purchase.
