The perfect thickness for a runner for the hallway

This carpet comes in different styles and lengths to make it easy to find just the right style for your home. I prefer these carpets like this that are thinner, but they’re very sturdy and hold up to a lot of traffic. I will be using this carpet down my hallway from the living room to the kitchen, where traffic is constant. It will require some carpet tape to keep it in place but I find all carpet runners. Need tape to hold them in place. I like the style of this carpet the way it’s modern yet if it’s in perfectly with farmhouse modern which is what I have in my home. Right now I have a different color in the hallway. I change cord to seasons and such so this one will be getting put in the hallway in the spring. The color of this particular carpet is perfect with nearly anything, it’s simple but yet has excellent style and it’s nice and sturdy. If you see the back of it in the pictures it’s very tightly woven and hold up to a lot of traffic walking over it. These carpets are great too. When you have cats I have two of them that like to sometimes put the clause and carpets in. I find this type hold up extremely well easy to vacuum easy to spot clean when you have cats there’s that occasional hairball that you have to clean up and of course they always choose the carpet. This would also be great in your kitchen in different sizes. I also use these in my master bathroom because the floor always seems like it’s cold in the winter and I found that if I just put a runner in the middle of the room, it works great to keep things a little bit warmer so this one could also end up in there eventually. These are so reasonably priced for the quality that is excellent. These carpet runners are definitely a good value.

The color black has a great saturation of color, nice binding and jute backing. A bit pricey.

Hmmm. The rug is nice and just what my daughter wanted for her Lego room. The color is a nice and true black, great depth of color and the white/cream stripping is the pop that it needs. The binding is good and the vacuum cleaner has not torn it up. I appreciate that because I have many an area rug where they are easily damaged by the vacuum. This is a thin rug, nothing plush or fluffy about it, but it does have a nice texture and is easy on bare feet. It's just enough to keep your feet off the cold floor but not enough to give you an opulent feel. It has a jute type backing which is that durability piece, but you are only going to spot clean this. It does not come with anything to tell you what spot cleaning products are suggested, so that's going to be a guessing game. I have two beefs. The first is that after two weeks, I still can't get the corners to lay down flat. I have Lego boxes sitting on the edges and I'm convinced they will never lay flat. Secondly, I feel it's pricey for the size. I have purchased other area rugs from an online company for less with more pile. Having said that, I do like the backing and binding and am hoping they hold up and justify the price. Now, if ONLY, the edges would flatten so I don't trip every time, I'd be happy.

Excellent build, quality textile, true to advertised dimensions

Rugshop has done it again! So fad, I have four total rugs of theirs and this one is also very nice. In my pictures you can get a feel for the height of the pile and colors. The pile height is appreciable, however for some I could see the need for a rug pad if used to something softer. Since this is a runner, and runs along my wall to act as a sort of "soft landing zone", i feel like it is just the right height and is totally workable with or without a pad. Straight out of the packaging it needs to be weighed down to remove some of the cylindrical qualities it had during shipping. I personally just put some heavier weighted stuff and vacuumed it. Like the rest of Rug Shops' products i am pretty confident this will ultimately settle in it's position quite nicely. As far as the piece itself goes, the black is exceptionally vibrant and the border is pronounced and clean, overall looking spectacular without breaking the bank. As far as value goes, Rugshop's affordability allows me much more ability to carpet areas of my house for a reasonable price. If you're reading this review I assume you're familiar with some of the outright exorbitant prices you might see at a department store or even worse furniture store. After oodles of vine reviews and being the owner of some intensely pricey afghans, I want to assure you that these are decent. Even the prices rugs age, and often not very well (another thing i am sure you're familiar with) however Rugshop offers a a solid, solid product and exceptional value. Overall, i am enjoying this every day! 5/5

Perfect runner for our long hallway and super soft!

I picked this runner up for a long hallway area and it worked out really well. The simple bordered design looks clean and modern without being too busy, so it blends in easily with the rest of the room.The low pile is nice because it lays flat and doesn’t get in the way of doors opening or closing. It also feels durable enough for a high-traffic spot, which is important for hallways or entry areas.Another thing I like is the length—it’s perfect for longer spaces where a regular rug would look too short. Perfect 5x7 rug for high traffic/kids home, very easy to clean.

I really love this rug!! I got the 5x7 size which is perfect for my small living room. At first I was skeptical because I struggled getting the edges on each end to lay down flat so what I did was lightly misted each edge with water and then I placed something heavy on top for about an hour or so and it flattened out entirely. I was able to vacuum this rug without the edges coming up into the vacuum. It was easy to sweep off for light cleaning. It feels nice under my barefeet and my feet didn't catch on it with shoes on. The quality is great and the pattern looks amazing! My toddler spilled some chocolate pudding and I was able to clean it up immediately and there is no stain left behind.
