Long Runner Rug That Looks Nice and Fits Well in Narrow Spaces

I got this runner rug through Vine and it turned out to be a good option for hallways or other narrow areas. The length works really well for spaces like entryways, along a kitchen walkway, or in a hallway where a normal rug would feel too short.The design is modern with an abstract pattern that adds a little style without being overly busy. It’s the kind of rug that blends easily with different décor styles rather than standing out too much.One thing I noticed right away is the low-pile construction. The pile height is around 0.24 inches, which helps the rug lay flat and makes it easy to place under furniture or in doorways without catching on doors.The material is polypropylene with a flat-woven construction, which usually holds up well for everyday foot traffic and is fairly easy to clean if dirt or debris gets on it.It also rolled out without much trouble and flattened fairly quickly. Elegant, well-made rug

I'm very happy with this rug. I got the 2'3" x 12' runner for my hallway. It doesn't span the entire length of the hallway but that's no fault of the rug. I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the rug. I bought a 1/8" thick rug pad but I hardly need it because this rug is plush enough by itself. It feels very nice on bare feet and has held up well to vacuuming.The design on this rug is very aesthetically pleasing. I love the pattern on it, I typically don't go for striped anything but this one is so well done. The contrast of the black on cream (the cream looks closer to light grey to me, but it could just be the lighting) is just right, not too bold or busy. Once I had it unrolled and inspected it in person, I noticed a bit of a gradient on the lines which just adds to the visual appeal. Contemporary is a perfect word for this. The simplicity of it makes it easy to incorporate into many different households and aesthetics. The price is on par with what I've paid for other rugs, especially one of this quality. Highly recommend.

Budget quality, mid-range pricing

This runner rug (I have the 8 ft option) arrived rolled in plastic, as is the industry standard, backing facing the outside of the roll. This made it necessary to reverse-fold the corners to encourage them to lie flat. It has been three days, and the lumps are still not relaxed out of it, and the corners keep creeping back upwards; once people start tripping on the corners, they will just get turned up even worse.There is the typical chemical rug smell when you open it, but it dissipates after a few hours.The biggest issue I have is how thin the rug is for the price, which is more aligned with a mid-range quality floor covering of that size. I absolutely will need a carpet pad and not just a non-slip mat beneath it to make it feel less cheap. This is on par with doormats you can pick up at your local dollar/pound shop.The design is very stylish and fits my aesthetic and decor well.The stitching around the outside is fine, the backing is VERY rough, so you will need to protect hardwood or other flooring that is easily scuffed.The size is as stated in the listing.For me, the price point is a bit high for this quality.

I am happy with my Rugshop Contemporary Abstract Indoor Area Rug for my entryway. I received the 2'x3' and it works well in my entryway. It looks as described. However, it is very flat and thin and not as comfortable as I hoped. I’m still waiting for the corners to fully lay flat since it arrived rolled up. I like that it stays in place.
