Nice Looking And Durable Modern Style Rug

The Rugshop Contemporary Distressed Circle High Traffic Area Rug (5' x 7' Brown) is a nice rug for the living room. The plush fibers seem durable and well made. The bottom does not have that tacky polyurethane that disintegrates after some time, so it should last much longer without all that dirty shedding. It comes rolled up, but after laying it down it relaxes flat in a bit. The color and art design is kind of neat, like a MOMA art themed style. The edges are well stitched and seem to be done well. Overall this is a nice rug.

Area Rug

I ordered the area rug and I'm happy with what arrived. Is it the highest quality? No. But it is soft, durable, the edges are all straight (I've gotten some area rugs that were wonky!), it looks exactly as pictured, and looks really nice in my room. I have it ontop of some boring beige carpet to tie my living room together and I like how it lays, I've had no issues with it moving about but that's because it's not on tile. It you're putting it on hard surface you might need a rug gripper thing. It took a bit to stop curling at the ends but I just flipped it upside down and let gravity do it's thing for a couple days, though I'm sure you could speed it along with some heavy objects. I'm pleased overall. If you get this on sale, it's definitely worth it.

Love the design and feel!

I ordered this 5x7 rug for our bar room area and absolutely love it! After unpacking we simply rolled it right out without having any trouble with it flattening out. The rug is soft and the design is as pictured and modern. We had no issues with it slipping as we placed it underneath an oversized couch. My only complaint is I should have ordered a larger size! Absolutely love this rug and can't recommend it enough!

Feels comfortable to walk on. Back side has a rough texture, but no grip. Needs a good rug pad underneath for grip on hard floors, otherwise it will slide around.Seems to be easy to keep clean and fairly stain resistant. Recommended!

We love this rug!

We upgraded rugs after our last area rug turned out to be more of an un-washable dirt-trapper than we realized it would be, and it was too shaggy to vacuum properly. This rug is a much better alternative that we love the color, texture, and size of! The variegated pattern is not only pretty and matches the theme of our living room, but it's good for disguising little debris between vacuums. And yes - we can vacuum it! I rolled it out and weighed down the corners, and within a day or two it had flattened out pretty nicely. Considering how wrinkled and rolled it was upon arrival I was worried about how it would flatten, but now days later it looks great! It's not super thick and doesn't offer a ton of padding, but it's perfect for our needs. And we can always get a rug pad to go underneath it if we want. Very happy with this rug!!!

It works as a rug, but its not as attractive as it seems in the photos

I really wanted to love this rug because it looks great in the image. I mean, its a rug. It does the job, but its not that nice. It has a smell that has permeated the office. Its a low-pile rug, but I'm now used to the super-thin, soft, and washable rugs that are available now. After that, the texture of this one is just ick. But also, the details in the rug aren't as crisp as in the image and it mostly looks like blobs of yellow and grey - and not the nice, crisp half circles you see in the image. I'm keeping it for now, but I have my eye out for an upgrade.
