Durable Braided Rug for Patio

I needed a rug for a smaller section of my patio here in Grayson, something that could handle the Georgia weather and would be easy to clean. This 5'x7' blue braided rug from Rugshop seemed like a good fit, especially since it's reversible and weather-resistant.The rug has that classic braided look and texture. The blue color is nice – sort of heathered, which should hide dirt well. The material feels tough and durable, definitely made for indoor/outdoor use (likely polypropylene). The braiding seems tight and well-done. Being reversible is a nice bonus for extending its life.When I first unrolled it, the edges were curled up from being packaged, which is pretty normal. It took a day or two outside in the sun to relax and lay completely flat. The braided texture feels durable underfoot; it's not soft or plush, but perfectly fine for an outdoor or high-traffic area. You wouldn't want to walk on it barefoot for long periods if you're sensitive to texture, though.It looks great on the patio and seems like it will be very easy to maintain – just sweep it off or hose it down. It feels like it will hold up well to rain and sun.I'm giving it four stars. It's a tough, practical rug that looks good and is perfect for outdoor spaces or busy indoor spots. The reversible feature and weather resistance are great. I docked one star because the braided texture, while durable, isn't the most comfortable surface for bare feet, and it did take a little while to fully flatten out. But for its purpose, it's a solid choice.

Nice outdoor rug

This rug arrived packaged well and rolled up like most area rugs are when purchased. So, of course, the edges were curled up from being packaged, but they relaxed and laid flat within a day or two. It looks like a woven rug rather than plastic and the pattern is reversible with the mirror image on the other side. Of course this rug isn’t soft or thick, but it’s perfect for a high-traffic outdoor area. The blue color is a weathered blue so it should hide dirt well.The care instructions suggest to hang dry when it gets wet to prevent mildew, but I doubt we’ll do that, so I’ll update my review if we get any mold/mildew from not following that advice. It's rained a lot here since we’ve had this rug out and so far, we've haven’t noticed any issue.
